Hot on the heels of this morning’s preview on Mezamashi TV, the full-length version of the trailer for Fukkatsu no “F” (“Revival of ‘F'”), the upcoming theatrical Dragon Ball Z movie, has been posted online and added to the film’s official website.

Dialog in the trailer is identical from the material previewed this morning:

PICCOLO: He’s come back as a monster in a totally different league from us!
VEGETA: What’s going on?!

The trailer wraps up with promotional information about the pre-release tickets, which include one of either a Goku or Freeza “Movie – Akira Toriyama Model Super Progression Strap” featuring the character’s movie version inside their version from the manga.

New credits are presented on the main page of the official website, perhaps most notably including the fact that Norihoto Sumitomo will return from Battle of Gods and the Majin Boo arc of Dragon Ball Kai for musical composition duties:

Art Director: Shinzō Yuki
Music: Norihito Sumitomo

Masako Nozawa (Son Goku, et al.), Ryūsei Nakao (Freeza), Kōichi Yamadera (Beerus), Masakazu Morita (Whis), Ryō Horikawa (Vegeta), Masaharu Satō (Kame-sen’nin), Hiromi Tsuru (Bulma), Mayumi Tanaka (Kuririn), Takeshi Kusao (Trunks), Hikaru Midorikawa (Tenshinhan), and Yūko Minaguchi (Videl) are all confirmed to return, and hopefully to all of their respective roles noted here.

The “Story” page of the official website includes new information, as well:

A fated clash!!
A battle surpassing gods begins — !!!!

After peace returned to Earth following the battle with God of Destruction Beerus, the surviving remnants of Freeza’s forces, Sorbet and Tagoma, approached, seeking the Dragon Balls. Their objective: to revive Freeza in order to bring his forces back to power. That worst wish in history is granted at last, and the resurrected Freeza plots his vengeance against Goku and the other Saiyans… And so, Freeza’s new army advances on Earth, and Gohan, Piccolo, and Kuririn clash with a thousand soldiers. Goku and Vegeta challenge Freeza to a fated duel, but Freeza had attained an overwhelming power-up!

“Allow me to show you… my further evolution!”

Now, for warriors beyond their limits, the curtain was about to open on a battle like none before or since –.

Rather cutely, that final sentence works in the title/phrase “Kuu-Zen-Zetsu-Go”, words used as the second opening theme to Dragon Ball Kai in Japan.

Finally, the official website also includes a special audio message from Freeza (Ryūsei Nakao):

地球の皆様、この度、私、遂に復活することになりました。楽しみですよ、あの憎きサイヤ人達に復讐するその時が…。2015年4月18日、皆様も楽しみにしておいてくださいね。

People of Earth, this time around I shall finally be revived. I’m looking forward to the time when I will get my revenge on those loathsome Saiyans…. 18 April 2015, everyone please look forward to it as well.

The story for the movie is being crafted by original manga author Akira Toriyama, who stated he is writing it, “…as though it were a continuation of the manga when it was in serialization,” and that while it will, “…of course be a continuation of the previous Battle of Gods,” he has also, “…deliberately increased the amount of action scenes by a good deal.” Tadayoshi Yamamuro, who worked for many years as character designer and animation supervisor on the Dragon Ball franchise, will serve as the film’s director and animation supervisor. Revival of “F” is set to bring back Freeza and will also include two new characters (Sorbet and Tagoma), feature Beerus and Whis again from Battle of Gods, and much more.

Revival of “F” opens 18 April 2015 nationwide in Japan in 2D and 3D.
