Last month, Bandai Namco’s official website for Dragon Ball Discross announced the impending cancellation of the product following its Phase 3 release.

Discross, announced and debuting back in December 2014, allowed players to purchase ¥100 toys from capsule machines to play a specialized arcade game. Bonus toys were also packed in with various magazines and merchandise over the subsequent years.

A promotional manga, Dragon Ball Discross Divine Power God MAX!!, had been running in Shueisha’s bimonthly Saiky┼Ź Jump magazine since its March 2015 issue, with the series’ 11th and final chapter published last month in the magazine’s November 2016 issue.
