No, Onishi was back in Episode 102 and supervised 106 (Assistant Supervisor) 109 and 110

but when it comes to anime it's really more up to personal preference, which is whether you prefer hand-drawn or digital. Newer animes will mostly be digital, older animes will be hand-drawn. In my opinion the Buu saga looks a lot better "graphically" than Super does because I prefer hand...
