Re: Characters that you never hear about
I remember Lunch being mentioned a few times in the beginning of DBZ... and I wish she had slightly more of a role. I guess she just faded much more into the background than Roshi did, and he did a lot. I think those characters were really just kept there for old time's sake. I wish we saw more of R...

Re: Japanese popularity of Dragon Ball vs. One Piece
Still kinda ironic though, ^^ even though DB and DBZ was very influential and clearly still is lol. I think part of it has to do with it being a very different time in the anime world now, than when Dragon Ball and Z debuted. A significant portion of the anime fanbase is getting younger, and the ani...

Re: Alternate Colours part II
Bulma's hair sees a few different colours - like the turquoise we know and love, lavender purple like Trunks' hair, and dark blue. It also looks greenish at times. I also have seen it look grey, possibly due to reduced colors in the manga. http://img864.imageshack.us/img864/221/bulma1z.jpg http://im...

Re: Is the Earth actually just a bit over 800 years old?
The question I have about the timeline of the Earth in Dragonball - it's nothing like our IRL earth lol. How is technology so advanced? Stuff like dragon radar and hoi poi capsules, as well as flying cars, and those healing machines don't even exist yet today, in the age of computers. And it's 2011 ...

Re: Why didn't Yamcha ever surpass Tenshinhan or Kuririn?
I always thought that Tenshinhan was always better than Krillin and Yamcha put together. Same here. Tenshinhan was definitely the better martial artist, especially in Dragon Ball. He just had the bad luck of being under the tutelage of the Crane hermit and his brother Tao Pai Pai, who both lacked t...

Re: Sword skill
Yajirobe would lose the battle - you know he hates being in the face of danger. That little pansy is just going to run away
So, while he might have some power and epic skills, he's just not going to use them, therefore losing.
