Re: Hilarious fan-sub lines

Wow, that's interesting. Can't say I'm familiar with that sub of movie 9. My copy was a dual 7 and 9 done by Yagami (who I would later end up meeting as part of the AMV scene... small world!). The one line from that version that's still in our daily lexicon is Oolong's "Kuririn! Do your moderat...

Re: Why so much hatred over the manga Zamasu?

I always love how people just talk shit about things they have not even watched/read. There is a reason, its definetly not a random thing, so I suggest you to actually read it before showing ignorance about a matter saying it's a nonsense. Then again, it isn't very different from the people who are...

Re: Ok so Gohan is Mythical again, confirmed

This isn't a very substantial comment, and seems like it could be placed in any number of other, more-relevant spots (any given battle power / strength discussion, or even with other next-episode-preview comments for the respective episode discussion). Thanks!

Re: Super Episode 87 (23 April 2017)

This was boring, but I expected that. Some of the dialogue with #17 and Goku was good. Let's try to add a little more to the discussion than just this. I understand this may be all someone has to say on an episode they're ambivalent about, so consider if you genuinely have something worth tossing i...

Re: Toyotaro tracing

Please be sure to use the quotation function of the forum properly. Furthermore, there is quite a bit of tone/attitude insanity going on here. Scale it back! Remember that account strikes add up to temporary/permanent bans, which revoke access to the entirety of the Kanzenshuu website. We encourage ...

Re: People say this show is for the kids, but..

This appears to just be another thread about strength debates and scaling over the span of the entire franchise (of which we have plenty), under the guise of asking whether or not it's a children's show. I would recommend this recent/on-going one.

Re: Does Dragon Ball Kai The Final Chapters have 2 Versions in Japanese?

Correct: the "original" Japanese broadcast is in fact an edited-down version of what they originally produced as the base for the international market. You may wish to read our two major articles about it (one / two) for more detail.

Re: Why do Vegeta fans get mad whenever Goku gets a kill?

I mean, haven't you answered your own question? A fan of a character would sometimes like to see them get the limelight. That's really all there is to it. In the case of Resurrection 'F' , we were also coming off a direct comment from Toriyama himself saying : As for Vegeta, in the event that there’...

Moderation Updates: 2017 Edition!

Heyo! Somewhere around a year ago we deemed it necessary to bring on a little extra hired-help . I'm happy to say it's worked out pretty beautifully! Particularly with Super and the (yet again / continued) influx of new members, it was the right decision at the right time. Lately, however, we've com...

Re: What makes "Power Levels" worthwhile to you?

On one hand, you're absolutely right: the similarity to that other thread (one I even participated in myself) is glaring, and I can't believe I missed it. On the other hand, I think this one is juuuuuuuust different enough to validate keeping it around for just a little bit more. I think even fans t...

Re: Super Episode 86 (16 April 2017)

I'd just like to say locking this thread and bashing all the commenters was the lamest thing I've seen a site do in a while. Even bashed the dude for having poor grammar. Correct way to handle this is DM's, warnings, and bans for repeat offenders. Instead we got scolded by some dude who gets e-hard...

Re: How do you define a good dub?

It has to be word to word accurate to the Japanese version, no variations at all, even for phrases that don't translate well into english. They also must use names Gokuu, Bejita, Bidel, Piccoro, Bloomer, Kurririn, Furiza, Beers, Muten Roshi, and Kakarotto. If you're going to make sarcastic posts, y...

Re: How do you define a good dub?

I don't necessarily agree with all of that. You disqualify the Harmony Gold dub on the basis of names alone, but I found that far more faithful in its script and tone (not to mention it keeping its musical score) than a lot of FUNimation material. I also don't necessarily agree with #10 there. I can...

OK, I'm not one for inter-series versus discussions in the least, but I'm down for watching Goku vs. the Weeping Angels play out.

Yes, that's what it does, but can you elaborate on why and how that's important to you? That's the question being posed by the thread; there's an understanding already of what "power" actually is.
