It's amazing how many of Toriyama's designs in Dragon Ball have already been used in some form during his earlier works. Now, Dragon Ball doesn't seem so original anymore.

Yeah, when it's for more good-natured characters like Goku, then the rounded eyes work wonders. But, for some reason, when it's for those that are frowning all the time, it seems a little off-putting. Eh, but that's just me, I guess.
