Yeah, the Madman colours, darkness and encoding are the closest approximation to how I remember seeing the show all those years ago. Furthermore, the interlacing on the collector's set looks dire. I don't think I'll be bothering with this one after all...

Do we know if this film is going to released in 3d yet? Assuming this is even feasable for a hand-drawn, animated film, the idea of a 3d fight scene is really appealing to me.
