Re: "Dragon Ball FighterZ" (PS4/XBO/PC, 2018, Arc System Works) Official Discussion Thread
Just saw the trailer from the Xbox briefing. Oh man, this game looks fantastic. I haven't been this hyped for a Dragonball game in such a long time!

Re: Funimation Buu release guess?
Hopefully we'll hear something concrete come Holiday time. It would be exciting to see it on Toonami though.

It's something I would love to see happen and I'm woundering whats going on. I noticed Z just got fin...

I'm selling a piece of my heart!
So as much as it sucks to have to do this, I'm giving up the first Dragonbox. http://www.ebay.com/itm/252508001393?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 I want to give it to a good home so I'm posting the listing here to a community of people that I know will love to have it. It sh...

Re: How would you make a Hollywood adaption ?
Yeah but they won't translate well in live action. Same goes with Fat Buu, since Evil Buu (Grey Buu) would work better in live action when coming out of Buu's shell. Grey Buu looks pretty scary looking while Fat Buu is too cute looking to be taken seriously for a wider audience. They said that abou...

Re: How would you make a Hollywood adaption ?
As far as writing goes, I'd start at Z only because it's the most well known and would get the most butts in seats hear in the US. I think the best thing to do would be to tell Dragonball's story similar to how Watchmen did it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVUDdQS2UxA Tell the bulk in the first m...

Re: Your Fandom X Years Later
This series is probably the only real pop culture thing that I hold near and dear to my heart. When I was a kid and first discovering the show in the 90's it was kind of just a fun ride. My friend discovered the Ocean Dub on UPN in the mornings and I instantly fell in love. It came right at that swe...

AKIRA TORIYAMA - The Establishing Panel
Hey guys, it's been awhile so excuse me if this has been posted on here already but I came across this the other day and wanted to share it with everyone here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5R03-X7pa8 This channel is fairly new and focuses on artists all across the comic medium and I thought it w...

Re: Which artist have you always wanted to see DBZ art from?
So just for fun, I went to see if I can find any Dragonball art by any western Artists, and I found this: http://37.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m78fk1dgj01qfxwtoo1_1280.jpg It was in a Joe Madureira + Dragonball search. It looks cool and while it's close to his style, I'm not convinced it's him. Does an...

Re: Which artist have you always wanted to see DBZ art from?
Aaaaaanyway, I've always been a huge fan of George Perez's art from Avengers Volume 3. It almost makes you feel the impact yourself. Love it. Have there been any big American comics artists who have made art of manga characters? I LOVE George Perez, he's an awesome guy and an amazing artist. Howeve...

Re: In Bob We Trust:Nazi stuff in Dragonball Z?
Another pointless video to make some money. Great. Can't wait for Goku vs Superman round 3. While it's published through Screw Attack, MovieBob is a free lance creator working on his own terms and topics. He has no affiliation with the Death Battle crew or any say in the outcome or anything like th...

Re: Which artist have you always wanted to see DBZ art from?
Please tell me that Ramos's art has improved back from his Peter Parker/Spider-Man days. His art ruined "Death in the Family," by making it the Spider-Chimp vs the Samurai Goblin. On topic, I've said this before, but I would pay serious money to have Nobuhiro Watsuki draw a Dragon Ball fi...

Re: In Bob We Trust:Nazi stuff in Dragonball Z?
Basically he tackles the subject, that pops up in many casual Dragonball fan conversations, that the Super Saiyan is connected to aryan beliefs. His argument is of course there is no connection, and goes on to discuss where the influence could have come from in eastern culture. It's more historical ...

Re: Which artist have you always wanted to see DBZ art from?
Gotta say I've never seen Christopher Heart talked about positively. Not the biggest fan of his style but I like what he's done for young artists. Anyway, on to the question. I'd love to see a lot of prominent western artist draw Dragonball Characters. Jim Lee, Fiona Staples, Humberto Ramos and Joe ...

In Bob We Trust:Nazi stuff in Dragonball Z?
Trust me when I say give it a view. It's not going to go the direction you think it is(at least where I thought it would). As a fan of the series, you'll probably let out a loud duh but there is some really cool stuff none the less. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ai97aycSQ-U Also, hey guys! It's be...

If you aren't familiar with Steam Train, or it's bigger brother Game Grumps, it's basically just a lets play. This episode is a special one however, as they are showing off the fan made Hyper DBZ. This game looks incredible and I have a lot of respect for the guys behind this project. Enjoy! https:/...

Re: "Dragon Ball: Xenoverse" (PS4/XB1/PS3/360) Official Thre
Dimp's involvement has peaked my interest. I've all but stopped caring for these games, but I feel Dimps has done some of the best games for the franchise. I still want to know how this plays, because it almost looks like they are taking a page from Spike's book. We'll see I guess.

It's so dorky, but this was my favorite too. It feels like the only U.S. Dragonball commercial that somewhat addresses the fact that there is a generation that grew up with Dragonball.
