Re: Am I the only person who says "Dragon Ball Zed?"

As italian, i pronounce it "ZETA", like in "tZEH TAH". (Zeta is the letter, but is pronounced ZZZ, that's impossible). It's fun. Try it. DRAH GON BOWHLL tZEH TAH. Same with both Spanish versions. This even though in Mexico there is a powerful cartel called the Zetas. I guess tha...

Re: Your First Post

Could have been worse, I suppose. One thing I can't stop thinking about is how the scouters used by Furiza and his men work. I want to think that the scouter uses a crystal to detect the changes in one's bioelectonic field which is influenced by the individual's strength. I can't imagine how somthin...

Re: How did you decide/get your avatar?

Thought I would change my avatar to Santisima Muerte since the old one was a bit OLD if you catch my drift. I might go back to it, but I like this for now.

Re: Episode #0400 (27 March 2016)

¡Felicitaciones! It's hard to imagine a whooping 400 episodes of the podcast, but it had to happen sooner or later. Even having nothing to do with it, it still feels amazing. A trip down memory lane is exactly what the 400th episode should be devoted to. I am very glad I decided to come back to Daiz...

Re: The Secret Message Behind the Saiyans

I saw this and had to rant a little. Hope that's ok. I promise I'll deal with the topic at hand though, since I've thought off and non about it for a while now. Kind of what drew me back here. The Saiyans arc consist of themes such as being the product of your environment and the limits of society c...

Re: Episode #0369 (14 September 2014)

I like that Piccolo Daimao figure quite a bit. I'm rewatching the old Dragonball DVDs and it's great to see something that I have been watching. I wonder if they have plans for the Dragonball last Tenka'ichi Budoukai and the Piccolo Junior saga. I hope not, mainly because part of the charm of Dragon...

I honestly can't see what is wrong with this, other than the obvious Gokuu kicking a presumably black man in the face, which might be racist. Is it racist? Anyway, the point stands that there is nothing to really complain about here.

It works but it doesn't. You're still responsible for your contributions. Posts that are quoted by other users will remain part of the conversation and cannot be edited by you. That's why it's probably better not to make an ass of one's self or make mistakes on critical things, like what the name o...

I was just curious to know if it was possible to occasionally change posts or remove them when one changes one's mind. Thanks for stopping by though.

Topic/Post Deletion

It would be nice to be able to delete your posts and topics, especially if you post something that makes you look bad. That's pretty much where I'm at, with one particular topic about Spain's indigenous language dubs, where I make a special ass of myself. I just want to get rid of those posts. I gue...

Re: Multiple Spanish dubs?

No one has argued about the right to express their opinions, but all I've seen from you are hate comments, and then poor attempts to justify them and make them pass like innocent comments. I'll gladly remind you of what you said: The Castellano dub DVDs are buried next to the ET Atari games...in th...

Re: Multiple Spanish dubs?

You two should stop it. No need for those kind of comments. There are differences in Latin Spanish and Castillian Spanish so what. if Latin Spanish people don't like rhe Castillian dub, that's normal. Same goes for Castillian speakers don't liking the Latin dub. They sound very different from each ...

Re: Multiple Spanish dubs?

There are things that I don't understand about LA dubs. To quote you "The use or lack of use of certain words, pronouns, and local stuff can make it kind of hard to decipher". And yes, even though it's supposedly completely neutral, there are words and expressions that we need to check th...

Re: Multiple Spanish dubs?

He asked for what/how many dubs were produced in Spain and you just posted a hate-filled comment about the Castellano dub, how typical of some Mexican dub fans to do so. I really wish people would stop doing even if they're not fond of it. Ok, you got me there. It's not as bad as the dub that the P...

Re: Multiple Spanish dubs?

The Castellano dub DVDs are buried next to the ET Atari games...in the desert. The Spain dub is only good for two things - making yourself down vodka/tequila in sadistic drinking games and perhaps for a laugh. That's it. Edit: I don't know if they made a Euskara dub, but I don't think they would wan...

Dragonball Nostalgia Trip - Bulma or Lunch?

Bloomers or the Lunch...Launch? Does it matter? I'm sure I'm going to be ripped to shreds for that, but whatever. I'm an DaizenshuuEX vet and I figured I'd come back and talk about one of my first manga/anime excursions. I'm still ticked off that the North American releases only have one OP/ED for t...

Re: Brilliant (but subtle) writing in Dragonball

They both give zero shits about the safety of their kids. This is incorrect, but I have to say that Gokuu has a heart of gold...but a huge pile of shit where his brain should be. He has some capability to be a good father, he just lacks the experience and know how to do it. He probably loves Gohan ...

Re: Brilliant (but subtle) writing in Dragonball

The 1st episode of the Z portion of Dragonball was brilliantly written and I have never really thought about it until now. The story comes together with the origin story of Goku and his alter ego, Kakarot. All of Goku's friends are there to have a party, I guess to celebrate after not seeing each o...
