Re: Which GT or other filler character would you like to see making a cameo in Dragon Ball Super?

I'd like for Pikkon to get some sort of mention/appearance. I'll put my vote down for him. If I had to choose from strictly GT I'm not sure who I'd pick, honestly.

Thanks for the reply. It's interesting that you quoted me, given I don't really see what you're trying to say in contrast to what I said. I mean, I understand fully where your train of thought is going. I can't say I agree with it really but I understand what you're trying to get across. I'm just t...

Re: "Infographic: How 'Dragon Ball' Influenced a Generation of Hip-Hop Artists" (Genius.com)

Great read. There's a similar article out there that you can probably find pretty easily, regarding the connection between Street Fighter and Hip-Hop. Comics/video games/anime are all fairly prevalent in hip-hop, now more so than ever probably. I won't link it here, but to shamelessly plug my own p...

Re: Why are Yamcha and Tenshinhan only in Movies 3 and 9?

I liked that little fight that Tien and Future Trunks had in the beginning of Bojack Unbound. Showed rapport between two pretty different characters that didn't have too much interaction in the show. I like Yamcha's portrayal in Path To Power, he was pretty cool in that. As for DBZ flicks, I can't t...

Your stuff is fucking rad. I'm not huge on a lot of digital stuff, but yours is pretty clean. Really dig the chibi ones too. The form/angle/perspective on Trunks V Frieza is perfect.

Re: DragonBall Z Abridged

I enjoyed this a lot. Made the most of a subpar character/movie, while also putting a bit of a mirror up to the general fan base and/or fans of Broly in particular. Very tongue in cheek. Also plenty of allusions to previous and future DBZ Abridged canon that makes me really look forward to what they...

Re: General Website Goofs/Errors

On the music database page, a couple of the sections aren't clickable. Meaning, you won't be redirected to the page regarding what you clicked on. The sections that aren't clickable/don't go anywhere are the Foreign CD's section and the American Dragonball CD's section. The rest when clicked on, wor...

Re: Goku having bumped his head limited his potential?

Yeah, Kid Goku showed superhuman capacity from pretty much the get go. It just wasn't as clear or apparent because ki hadn't come into play until he met Roshi. If you look at his feats of strength and survival, it's pretty clear that his accident as a baby didn't hinder him in any way.

Re: Opinions on Dragon Ball YouTubers ?

The only one I really watch is MasakoX and the only reason I got into that was due to his involvement with TFS. I've never really paid special attention to any of the others but I'd be interested in maybe giving a couple of them a shot. Masako is just cool to watch because he proposes some interesti...

Great! Thanks a lot for the quick response. I only recently started listening the past couple months, but I've really enjoyed everything I've listened to thus far.

Listening now. Great topic. In the beginning of this episode you guys mention talking in depth about the music of Dragonball. Do you know which episode of the podcast this was or was it solely a Kirblog? That topic is super intriguing to me.

Re: Jumping Into The Current/Next Generation...

Nice to see someone of a similar situation, I too was a large part of that early fandom but caught solely the tail end of it. Attack Of The Saiyans and Burst Limit are two of my favorite dragonball games, honestly. If Burst Limit was a longer game, maybe even going as far as GT, it would've been ide...

Of course! Dragon Quest totally slipped my mind, thank you. I'll check out that and the panels, thanks again.

Re: Does Dragonball inspire you get fitter and healthier?

I actually started body building as a teenager for this specific reason, between DBZ and Spider-Man/X-Men comics, I was vastly inspired to change. I wasn't fat fat, but husky when I was young, so when I had a slimmer physique as a teenager, I took advantage of it and ever since I've been athletic. ...

Akira Toriyama and DB/Other landscape designs

As of late, I've become somewhat enthralled with the landscapes/setting designs that are in correlation with Toriyama's many artistic endeavors, dragonball included. As a traditional artist myself, I've actually started recreating some of these designs and have had a good time doing so. I wanted to ...
