Re: Demon guide

What would Uub be, given that he's a reincarnation of a Majin?

Re: How would Cell treat Dr. Gero?

Yeah, given Gero's arrogance (and insanity for that matter, since they never make a good combination), I'd say that unless he is extremely careful, he will end up like Babidi.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse

Yeah, especially since Gast will have to face Cell and Buu later on. I think Freeza's just going to throw Gast away or leave him for dead off some cliff somewhere, which allows him time to recuperate and find more Namekians.

Re: Most idiotic moments in Dragonball

The heart wants what the heart wants. I think Krillin did the right choice. Vegeta on the other hand.. Why is risking the world over sexual desires "the right choice"? I mean, Krillin just decided over a single kiss, that #18 was more important than the whole world, in probably one of the...

Re: Most idiotic moments in Dragonball

I believe TvTropes has another entry for that called Talking is a Free Action and yeah you're right about that.. In my manga volume Cell said there were 4 seconds left.. and then Goku starts monolouging... I would hate it if Freeza ran a Call Centre, and told me to "wait five minutes until you...

Re: Most idiotic moments in Dragonball

Which brings me to the question of why didn't Krillin use his Kienzan when he had the chance? Freeza could have been turned into salami in seconds without breaking a sweat.

Re: Your favorite movie (poll)

I'm very surprised no one has picked any of the Broly films yet. Is Broly really that horrible of a villain? Basically, Broly doesn't have any character to him than being an omnicidal maniac for really petty reasons, whereas other DB movie villains like Cooler or Garlic Jr. are more three-dimension...

Re: Most idiotic moments in Dragonball

I don't think so. If Dragon Ball has taught us anything it's that you won't always be strong enough to handle the next threat. Making sure they can protect the world is about more than them just being strong; it's about them being able to solve the problem even when they're not strong enough. You c...

Re: Most idiotic moments in Dragonball

I actually kind-of-sort-of agree with Goku's logic for this one. He was dead, and as far as he knew, could never come back again after that day. Sure, he could have solved this problem, but what about the next one? Those who were still living had to learn to stand on their own two feet--and you kno...

Most idiotic moments in Dragonball

We all know that characters in fiction can be quite incompetent, especially in settings such as Dragonball. But what were, for you, moments that just stood out as being the most idiotic? For me, they would have to be: 1) Goku letting Fat Buu live, so Goten and Trunks would fight him. Okay, not only ...

Re: Your favorite movie (poll)

Cooler's Revenge:

- Brilliant Villain who was pretty competent for the setting.
- Said villain's underlings actually understood concepts like "teamwork", something which is lacking in Dragonball.
- tied into the main story pretty well.
- all in all, a rollercoaster of a film.

Re: Are you tired of Goku being called a bad parent? Cause I

For me, being a Good or a Bad parent is something that requires premeditation. An otherwise good person like Goku making very bad decisions (giving Cell a Senzu, letting Buu live so Trunks and Goten could fight him, both of which were tremendous lapses of judgement) doesn't make him a bad parent, ju...

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse

Personally, I don't think the Ginyus are going to be showing up if Gast kills Zarbon and Freeza here, although I don't think he's strong enough to take on Freeza yet.

Re: Why Did It Take Longer For Vegeta & Freeza To Get To Nam

I'd say the Ginyu ships were probably a more advanced model than Vegeta's, which explains why they were capable of going to Namek from Freeza #79 in 5 days.

Re: What If: Cooler was on Namek

If there's a namekian alphabet, then the chances are there's at least some texts discussing the dragon, and Sauza could work it out. Of course, they would be destroyed immediately to deny invaders the knowledge about the Dragon.

Re: What If: Cooler was on Namek

Maybe Gero felt that he had gone too far down those paths to turn back after Goku's death. As well as that, he had gone utterly insane , as indicated by his lack of regard for human life.

What If: Cooler was on Namek

Let's assume that Cooler kept tabs on Freeza's scouters as well, and learned of the namekian dragonballs the same time as Freeza. Leaping at this chance of immortality, he and his men break off from whatever they were doing and go straight to Namek. What happens next? Scenario A: Cooler arrives at r...
