you know, I feel sorry for those poor people who worked on "remastering" the series and get this much heat just because Japan did a better job. THese guys probably tried at least a tiny bit.

Going onto the opening, at least they didn't give us an extended version of 'rock the dragon' or something.
You know, I always imagined that being a Japanese song with lyrics. NO kidding.
Anyone have hte full thing?

Except the Oozaru, I like FUNi's coloring; I just hate the widescreeen. I'd be ok if it wasn't widescreen, even though it wouldn't have the episode previews.

My local anime stores sell bootlegs, and pass them off as the real thing.
I personally would try a tiny bit harder first; and, if you really must, buy it - but make sure your local store isn't trying to pass it off as the real thing. Stores like that are the WORST.

off-topic: OK, thanks. I fixed it.

on-topic: I wish I had a half-decent mike, then I would attempt to try out for at least one character... but a 13 year old with a voice that he can't keep consistent pry wouldn't work out too well.

I personally liked the accent Dan had; it reminded me of Peter Kelamis. And, of course this is my opinion, but Kelamis really got the role (at least in the movies... he failed in the later ocean dub).
But, if you must recast, it is in the end up to you.

Well... some of these reviews (by the parents, not the site), believe it or not, seem relatively decent. But the Kids Next Door one... ugh. I don't really care for the show, but what they say on it is ridiculous. http://www.commonsensemedia.org/tv-reviews/Codename-Kids-Next-Door.html EDIT: Darth Vad...

Don't get your hopes up on Netflix. Once they have part of a series and that collection goes kaput, they don't try to go for the box sets.

I think even MajinVejita has to admit that some of the shots shown look better than the dragonbox.

EDIT: but as said before, the cropping really kills it.
