This episode was good, yes indeed. Good times, good news, TV 5. (Obscure reference) I kinda thought there was a lot of news considering that you didn't play your news stinger early on while discussing FUNimation's presence at MegaCon and at Katsu (which I attended) and their justification of the wid...

Wow, a mind-blowing 1 1/2 hour podcast! I am listening to this with the mindset that this is going to be blatantly biased against FUNimation and their handling of the big orange boxset, and so I should be expecting the mostly valid arguments against buying the big orange boxset. But I bought the dam...

Oh and Julian, those alternate endings you did were amazing...and you broke the .wav form even moreso than I did in the AnimeNEXT episode XD; When Julian did the ending like Freeza, Mike sure got excited.... Meri's words echoed in my mind, "Uh-oh, Julian spoke like Freeza... and Mike's pants a...

Ha ha, I got the joke about the audio podcast. Well, at least with all that shiny new computer equipment you can make more elaborate things for the podcast. Speaking of which, have you thought about doing little 30-second promos for the current podcast every week to be played on other decent anime p...

Quickie thoughts: -- Yay, Mike got the year right. -- Yay, Julian's back! Finally some law and order will be restored! Although I have enjoyed Jeff and Andrew dropping in the past couple weeks. -- I was bracing my own dub-loving self for the full-on VegettoEX "grobble grobble grobble" otak...

Boy, if there ever was a week for the podcast to be white and nerdy, this is the week! And I mean that in a great way! The Genshiken-like otaku intro (Mike sounding like Madarame), the plethora of video gaming information, and the random out-of-place ghetto-speak here and there. Yay. As for those DB...

All those people not getting this week's podcasts are missing out on something very fun this week. I like AndrewDeluxe's point of view of things considering he's not the DBZ otaku that Mike and Meri are. And the random things that Andrew does, like the Kamehameha Club, the Gohan toy, making party Sp...

Good podcast! Meri is so not gay. After all, just because she's cute and wears dresses and makeup and enjoys the finer plot points of yaoi, that does not make her gay. (Oh, wait a minute, but Meri hates yaoi.... but she's still not gay.) Mike on the other hand.... well, just mention Frieza in a Japa...

I honestly believe fans *need* to hear stories like this so they can take a step back and go, " Uhh... am I like that? Hrmm... " And you are doing quite a public service by doing so. I've dealt with too many people like that on a completely different fandom (that has nothing to do with an...

A lot of people just don't like the voices, period. I'm not too picky myself, but there's always one or tw voices that just drive me up the friggin' wall. And a lot of the voices are just so... off. For instance, why does every villain have to have either a rough, gravelly voice or some kind of acc...

I just want to say I've fallen in love with Movie 3. Tullece has quickly become my favorite movie villian. I liked Movie 3, even though I had to fiddle with the angle and language settings to see the "proper" open to the movie. At least for the "wrong" open, they used the correc...

To me, a dubbie is just someone who prefers the English dub as opposed to the Japanese dub. (Reminder, ALL animation is dubbed.) Being n00bish has nothing to do with it, IMO. There've been times watching other anime series in Japanese (most noticeably, Fullmetal Alchemist) where I was thinking, &quo...

Well, I wouldn't say we/I hate you... but you're certainly the minority. Hey, I'm a diehard dubbie too, but thanks to this podcast I have an appreciation for the Japanese dub of the show. I already have an appreciation for the original Japanese music as well! Like I always said, I don't understand ...

Mike and Andrew and gay sex? Well, what can Mike say. Andrew's kinda cute for a straight. (Poor Meri!) I liked the rant at the end, much like the rant from several weeks ago about Wikipedia. We need more of Mike's thoughts about stuff like this! One last thing, about Mike's "fanboy" moment...

I mostly listen to The Podcast on my iPod either driving to work (usually Monday or Tuesday morning) or while working. I even listen to some of the past Podcasts sometimes at work, especially the Scott Meltzer one, DBZ Movies discussion, and the Technology episode ("IT'S A ROBOT CHICKEN!")...

Excuse the phrasing... But this is precisely what dubbies are missing out on... an entire crowd of people with their fists up in the air chanting " CHA-LA! HEAD-CHA-LA! " in total communal dedication and love. I may be a diehard dubbie, but at least I'm open to watching something in Japan...

After weeks upon weeks of resisting, I have finally bitten the bullet and registered for the forum! I'm telling you, this week's podcast just compelled me to do it! Long time listener, first time poster, perhaps you saw me out of the corner of your eye while at Otakon or (most recently) AWA. Yeah, I...
