Oozaru didn't fight Piccolo. Piccolo commanded him to attack Roshi and team which he did as Piccolo's servant.
Yep.
The only possible cameo was, I think, I heard 'Namu' announced at the 'Toisan Tournament' but when I saw the characters in the background there wasn't one that looked like him.

Speaking of which, how long was Ernie Hudson in this film? Winston had a nice chunk of film. He did a cool job with the role just uh...I was left wondering what/who the fuck he was supposed to be. Either my ears deceived me when I thought they called him something other than Mutaito, or they just s...

Also, was the story steeped in a sort of mystical world like Dragonball, or were they already alluding to the sci-fi elements that would eventually have been revealed in DBZ? I answered your first question in the other thread. As for this, the story occurs in our world. During the opening monologue...

SPOILER SPOILER The clone mutants are in the movie for about 3 minutes. They're made. They attack, the camera shakes like a war film, they're quickly defeated but they come back so they get thrown into lava. Goku chops up a few and throws them into the lava to make a bridge. That was the one other s...

In the movie, Chatku crosses his arms over his chest in an X, then holds his hands at his chest to charge it up. Seeing as we're in a spoiler thread, I don't mind posting to the link. Oh no. Ohhhhh no. It's not that simple. You will not believe the first time they do it. As I said in my review, the...

Omae do you think the average kid would at least enjoy this movie? Since that's who FOX is pandering too? Really small foreign kids? Yes. But the toilet jokes they put in as an attempt to give it some resemblance to the original all fell flat with the Japanese family in the theater. Not even any gi...

So could you tell me how Son defeats him? And how the hell does he get into a village? Sorry for the questionare, I just have to know. SPOILER SPOILER He's defeated by the Kame Hame Ha. Goku jumps into the air following through with it and collides with Piccolo. After a flash we see him standing vi...

Oh, I forgot to mention that evil characters change sides all the time in DBZ. Seriously, Piccolo, Vegeta, Fat Buu. Vegeta and Fat Buu both slaughtered countless people, blew up cities, murdered NUMEROUS GRANDFATHERS, and tried to take over the world, and yet became good guys, so suck it! Yes, I sh...

Oh and one rantish thing if you'll allow it. Ki has become some kind of amorphous fucking Lifestream bullshit, not the hard-edged throbbing raw power source we saw in the series. B, in response to your question. spoiler I said spoiler. It's just Piccolo Daimaou. He's just lying there under snuggy be...

How was Muten Roshi over all? He was just fine. Chow Yun-Fat seems to have enjoyed playing his role AND he had the good fortune of having a character written that is somewhat faithful to the original. However, I felt that Joon was doing the most to make his character closest to the source with resp...

Personally, I think it sounds awesome. If that's the kind of 'twist' that does it for you, by all means, be excited. I remember being excited as a kid when Skeletor showed up after the credits of the Heman movie and we all know what a cornerstone of film-making that was. The film had a chance to st...

It's not something I want to talk about because I think I remained fairly calm throughout the majority of the viewing. Even the over-the-top sappy ending with Goku VS Chichi being presented as something even remotely exciting didn't get my blood boiling. It was the stinger in the credits that actual...

Poor, poor James. That was mean of me. But in all honesty, while writing that I completely and totally forgot about him. Which...is more insulting than any kind of rant I could produce. He's not a bad Piccolo, the Piccolo they create is just plain bad. But it's like some sort of ninja bad that slow...

Talking about myself for a paragraph is not something I’d like to do because I think my life deserves a retrospective, but because how I view this film needs some context. Recently I’ve seen a lot of reviews talking about how Watchmen changed how readers viewed comics and in some cases, changed thei...
