Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
Last week I bought Movie Packs 1 and 3 and also Resurrection F officially completing my DBZ movie collection. Now I only need to buy both the Bardock and Trunks special.

Re: Yet Another Dub Error
I don’t know if this has been called out before, or if this error is exclusive to the 30th anniversary set. But I just watched Episode 75 - Password is Porunga with the Dub audio. There is a brief scene where we see the deceased heroes on King Kai’s planet, celebrating that the dragon has been summ...

Re: Funimations 30th anniversary collectible home video release
Just finished watching thru this entire set the other day. I don’t know if anyone else felt this way, but I thought the earlier part of the series looked really great. Somewhere in the middle of the Cell arc, I felt like the quality of the remaster declined heavily. It really made me miss the forgi...

Re: Can't get into Kai
I don't know... I mean, the Japanese side is what I'm most into, and while I used to prefer watching Kai's superior dub, I just don't really care much about it anymore, since I've begun watching Z almost exclusively again, and at this point I kind of feel more like watching the old Z dub since I ge...

Re: Funimations 30th anniversary collectible home video release
I’ve stopped trying to nitpick the quality of the remasters and at this point all I want is full screen DBZ. It’s become clear this series will never get the love it deserves in terms of a release that properly remasters the footage. We’ve been bitching and moaning about this since 2006, and I’m ti...

Re: Funimations 30th anniversary collectible home video release
Hmm, the page for pre-ordering is down right now. Maybe they are making updates to the page? Like, removing the DNR (wishful thinking) It's up for me. The counter has been updated though to 2,904, so less than a hundred until the set is guaranteed production. Wow people are willing to spend 350 buc...

Funimation needs to remaster the series the same way they did with the level sets.

Re: Funimations 30th anniversary collectible home video release
So are these new Blu Rays just the 2013 Blu Rays uncropped in 4:3?? This has even less footage than the original 4:3 as they seemingly cropped their 16:9 version back to 4:3 with some odd zoom. I'm not a video expert but that's what I got from people who understand what's going on. Wow thats just p...

Re: Funi's DB/DBGT video releases vs. DBZ's
I bought Funimation's GT complete series DVD set a few hours ago, and watching it got me thinking, why did Funimation release acceptable DVD versions of DB and GT, but completely drop the fucking ball on Z's? Why'd they even bother """remastering""" DBZ for the Orange ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Z Kai: The Final Chapters" Parts DVD/Blu-ray Thread
Hey guys have funimation fixed the audio issues with parts 1 and 2 of TFC? I've put off buying these sets for a while now due to those audio issues. No. They've already released the sets. They're not doing a disc replacement program or anything. Damn that's a shame. FUnimation always finds a way to...

Re: Does anyone ever actually watch the Z dub with the Kikuchi score?
For the most part I pretty much now only watch the dub with the Kikuchi score. It was jarring at first due to me being use to watching the dub with the Falconer score but over time I got use to the English voices going with the Japanese score.
