That’s true, that’s true. And while Uub seems like a 100% good guy, Naruto turns real evil whenever the demon inside him is awakened. It's more like he’s two different people.

Raditz's body

Whatever happened to it? They have that scene where Bulma gets Kuririn to remove the scouter off of the body. Then they switch to a scene of Goku in the afterlife. The next you see of Bulma, Roshi, and Kuririn, they’re in a plane flying off somewhere. And you never, ever see Raditz again. They never...

Majin Buu and Naruto, too

It’s amazing that this never occurred to me before, and I’m sure that I’m not the first to realize it, but doesn’t Naruto’s origin seem awfully close to Uub’s? I’ve always seen the Super Saiyan state as being more of a transformation of the chi, in contrast to Freeza and Zarbon’s transformations of the body. After all, the main physical changes associated with the various Super Saiyan transformations are that the eyes and hair change color, the hair become...

Mr. Toriyama and his books

I suppose this question could really be asked about any manga artist alive, but for some reason I associate it with Toriyama. Anyway, what I’m really curious about is this: When Toriyama was still making Dragon Ball chapters for Shonen Jump, did he receive a free copy of each new volume when they ca...
