Honestly, I view Super as I view several of the video games that have come out: It's more Dragonball. It's not always going to make sense (*glares at ending of Future Trunks Arc*) and some things will be disappointing (*glares at Gohan*) but I thoroughly enjoyed Super and I hope the series continues...

While I love those ideas and love the movie villains, I'm glad they didn't go that route. I like what they did giving nods to older movie villains in later arcs like the ToP (Aniraza= Janemba/Hatchiyak, etc.) but I'm glad we got new. Doubtful. Hell seems to have gotten retconned from how it was in Z and GT. Hence why Frieza had his own version of it. It also seems like the idea is for the beings to suffer until they wish to repent before they "move on"
