Re: So Tenshinhan is the only male not paired up with a woma
Chaozu is 26 and Tenshinhan is 31 in that screengrab posted above, FYI.

Re: So Tenshinhan is the only male not paired up with a woma
Toriyama outlined, albeit off-the-cuff, that Tenshinhan has no interest in Lunch, though she will occasionally visit him and Chaozu on their farm. Going by that, I'd assume they are at least cordial and polite with each other?

Re: Is nobody gonna mention the new time travel rules?
I'm not watching the arc, but DB has always had the "butterfly effect." Remember when two androids showed up on an island on May 12th, and they weren't the right ones? Remember when the right ones did show up and they were magically stronger than the ones Trunks knew? Does Whis specificall...

As long as they keep putting it out digitally, I'm good with that. They're probably gonna redraw all the SFX.

Re: Bomber DX
When you consider Vegeta's in-series named techniques are "Garlic Gun", "Final Flash", and "Big Bang Attack", it's not the craziest leap that his cohorts would follow similar patterns. I guess the real question is, what connection does Raditz have with the weekend? Is t...

Re: Your favorite outfits/Dogis in the franchise?
-Goku's dogi in the title page for 173 is really cool. It's more flashy than a character like Goku would bother wearing, which is probably why it's only in an out-of-context title page. The Full Color version decides on an orange/red color scheme, but I always envisioned it orange and black. Vaguely...

Re: If characters disappeared once their relevance was over
You're basically describing a video game intro where nobody but Saiyans and villains show up and fight because reasons. That sounds like a fantastic show.

Re: Official Announcement Thread & Discussion
There's nothing that indicates a movie is going to be announced at all. :| There was nothing indicating Resurrection F was going to be announced( BoG had that D countdown thing, and then, nobody knew it was directly DB related until Shenlong stuff was unearthed from the site's code). There's actual...

Re: Weak-looking Characters are Strong; Misconception
The main character, whose name escapes me at the moment, was an example of this in the first third-ish of the series. Mago-something.

Re: I'm sorry, but Zeno just seems unoriginal and stupid
The straightforward option; a character who appears strong and actually is strong, has been done just as many times as "weak-looking guy that turns out to be strong."
This just seems like whining that a "strong" character doesn't look like Broly or Hatchyack or Super 13.

Re: Krillin's best friend
I'm not sure Goku is capable of thinking about it in those terms. If anything, I would say Kuririn places "extra" importance on their relationship versus how he(Kuririn) feels about everyone else, and Goku cares about everyone pretty much equally. And if you want to try and quantify a rela...

Re: The humble beginnings of the Original Funimation Cast.
For the record, Chris Sabat wanted to give up the role of Piccolo in the Kai dub, but it didn't work out. This is sad to hear if true. I know Sabat's more or less given the green light to do what he wants, and he's not shy that he loves Vegeta, but he's just not as convincing or strong in that role...

Re: The humble beginnings of the Original Funimation Cast.
If the chatroom thing is true, I'm at least glad most parties involved are capable of enough shame to want to separate themselves from such garbage. And Dragon Ball Kai , ironically enough, served the purpose of introducing new kids to the franchise, something it seemingly failed to do in Japan. Som...

Eric Vale wasn't delivering a pizza to Tiffany Vollmer; Tiffany Vollmer called him and told him to try out for Trunks when he was at a point in his life delivering pizzas. Vale outlines this story in detail on his YouTube page. Uhm, I don't even what to say about the complaints towards Sabat. The ir...

Well, going by the manga only, we don't know who is older; they just show up in a timeskip and neither of them talk to each other.Analytic wrote:While I prefer to stick to a manga-only viewpoint

Re: Dragon Ball GT - What Are Your Favorite Episodes/Moments
I need to rewatch it, but off the top of my head, Episode 30 where Goku winds up in the Sugoroku Space is dumb fun, along with whatever episode he fights Freeza and Cell. Oh, and looking at the episode list on the main site, Uub makes his triumphant return immediately after Sugoroku Space. That port...
