Took the survey. Was confused by the lack of GT arcs for the anime option. Canon debates to the side (which don't even have a clear answer in the first place), they're still arcs of the anime.

Most people, including me, see it as one arc, chapters 330-420 are all part of the Cell Arc.

Yeah, I don't get why people separate the story arcs so often. I mean, just because Cell shows up doesn't mean the android story is over. Same with Namek/Ginyu and Freeza. It's not 3 separate stories. It's one.

I'd say the Gohan question where you had to manually write in an answer was rather out of place. It's not how the rest of the survey was formatted and it's not something that can easily be used for statistics, so I really fail to see the point of it. It'll either result in a bunch of answers no one but you will see, a bunch of answers where people will only see your handpicked choices, or a bunch of answers you'll all post publicly... but in either case, it feels like something more suited for a forum thread than a survey response.

(also, when is the poll closing? It's been considerably more than a week)

Hmmm...I see your point. I guess it was just mostly for me. Now that you mention it, that question doesn't really fit. I guess I just wanted to see if people who always complain about current gohan are the majority or a vocal minority.

As for when the survey will end: I'm waiting for more responses.

If I could make some suggestions, maybe add the English Names to the Movies, and for favorite soundtrack openings, maybe add Rock the Dragon and Step into the Grand Tour? I know they're bad, but I laugh remembering the lyrics! :lol:

- The survey should have had an "other" option for the opening songs, to the match the one for composers.
- GT arcs should have been included with the Favorite/Worst Anime arcs sections.

None of these changes would have affected my answers, but they would have made the survey more comprehensive.

I found it difficult to answer the Favorite Language question, since older Dragon Ball in English and modern Dragon Ball in English are entirely different things. I can easily go back and forth on whether I like Dragon Ball Z Kai in Japanese or English more. Not so much with the old dub. :lol:
Favorite Movies: Alien, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, The Thing, Evil Dead, The Land Before Time
Favorite Shows: Cardcaptor Sakura, Doctor Who, Wallace and Gromit, Wakfu, Yu Yu Hakusho
Favorite Manga: Fullmetal Alchemist, Hunter x Hunter, Dragon Ball

Did this for the hell of it. Went with Dragon Ball over Z for "favorite anime", but in reality its really the 2nd half of DB and first half of Z that are my "favorites" anime-wise. Its hard for me to really split the two when its all one seamlessly flowing whole.
