Hello all!
I've been a DB fan since the first Italian dub airing on regional channels, back in the early 90s.

Hi guys! Created an account years ago but for some reason never got to interact with the community, sorry for that. But now that Super is here, and going through a very good moment might I add, I thought i'd revive this account and start talking about Dragon Ball :D

Hey, everybody, my name's Noah. I've had this account since earlier this year, but haven't felt inclined to use it till recently. I've been a fan of Dragon Ball for the past few years thanks to a couple of IRL friends who are big fans themselves, and I'm enjoying the ride quite a bit. :) My username is just a portmanteau of my full name and birth date - suffice it to say I was pretty lazy the day I made my account.

But yeah, I'm looking forward to discussing Dragon Ball with the rest of the community here. Thanks for having me!

My name's Robert, and I stumbled across Kanzenshuu in 2014 when I was looking up stuff for Battle of Gods. Since then, I've been active ever since Dragon Ball Super began and currently run the Tournament of Power Eliminations thread. Outside of Kanzenshuu, I'm a professional actor

I have a question for you. What have you acted for? I really hope I could look it up and watch it.

I mainly specialise in theatre, however I used to have some voice projects online before YT nuked them. :shh:

Certainly, of course.

I'm currently in the process of putting together a Dragon Ball-related video, so a performance (not so much acting, but anywho) will be on display.

Well, I really took my time, didn't I? I made this account a long time ago, and never posted. Been lurking, mostly. But, I've been a follower of the website and the podcast for a really long time, and, well, what do you know, here I am!
I'm an Italian fan, and through ups and downs, I never stopped loving the series, ever since that 7th of June 1999, when Italia 1 aired the first episode of the original series (the best part of Dragon Ball, if you ask me). Sure, there are SOME things that I really don't like, but I guess you'll see exactly what they are in due time.
So...Buongiorno!

First post. A bit scary, but here goes.

I first found the site about a week or so ago, maybe 2 by now. I was looking for info about Goten's birthday, and the only thing I came across was a post concerning it that was made by Li'l Lemmy. I didn't think too much of it at first, mainly just being thankful for the info, but I really liked the way Lemmy's question was presented, not to mention the replies given and the general feedback that resulted seeming helpful and insightful overall. Though that topic is now as old as Goten himself in Z, meaning the site and posters of the time could have changed a lot since then, the positivity drew my eye to check back on the site. And, not gonna' lie, most of my interest was in Lemmy. Not only did he like Goten quite a bunch (which, at the time, I thought was especially cool because I didn't think there were many Goten fans at all who like him for reasoning not limited to his cuteness alone), but he was always articulate and well-structured in his messages, he selectively responded instead of posting haphazardly, and seemed to try being as good an example of this community as he liked to see from the surrounding members. If that's not a proper role-model, I don't know what is. He's who comes to mind when I think of my new signature. xD Admittedly, I stalked through quite a bit of his posts.. A bit of shame there, but I did like what I came across that way, from interesting topics to neato users of the site (Rocketman gets props as quite a standout user imo!).

Getting to the point, my main reason for coming here was the building urge of wanting to chat with him honestly. Very shallow, yes, and a scenario that may not even go well, but I have to try. With the impression he's left for me via my time travel journey through various thoughts, surely I can learn more from him than Goten facts. Being able to contribute and learn from Kanzentai is icing on the cake; I've not been in a DBZ community ever, so this is another first for me. Hoping it'll be great chatting with minds who know just as much and beyond about the show that holds the earliest memory in my mind and heart, as I do. And even moreso, hopefully I can be as great a member as Lemmy was to a bunch of peoples, myself included. Heheh, just for novelty:

Oh my.

You have bestowed me with an incredible sense of honor and modesty with your words. But as flattered as I am, I do have to point out that while each individual member is definitely responsible for both their content and conduct, it's the setting of Kanzenshuu (back then, DaizenshuuEX) that really encourages the type of thoughtful contribution that I and everyone else endeavor to engage in.

I am not the most perfect member. DBS has made me a bit bitter here and there as of late. Bad Lemmy! But, its sudden cancellation (or hiatus?) has encouraged me to kiss and make up, so to speak. And a reminder such as this one that any single person's behavior- even mine!- can be how anyone perceives and judges this forum's standards definitely encourages me to make doubly certain that I always behave with civility, respect and a focus on being an outstanding member of an outstanding community.

I remember making that request about Goten's birthday, heh. We never did get an official answer, but the discussion is always helpful. I am the self-billed Number One Goten Fan, so most of my posts and interactions tend to revolve around that. It's just who I am as a DragonBall fan!

I am not around nearly as much as I used to be, but I do still exist. And I'd be lying if I said that your words have not inspired me to be around more than I have been. Life gets tricky sometimes, but I always try to carve out time for Kanzenshuu whenever I can. Maybe I can find more.

Kanzenshuu is a special place that I have a special history with. I don't even remember when I signed up, but I've always made sure to look in every year- if I'm not posting, I am definitely lurking, and I don't see that changing. It's a part of my fandom that goes back almost as long as my association with the DragonBall series itself, so much so that the two have become synonomous. There are absolutely more knowledgeable members than myself, but the trick to this community is that not knowing Everything There Is To Know is actually an incredible asset because you'll get to learn and expand your knowledge with the help of an amazing communuty that is motivated by our central, ongoing mission of being outstanding representatives of what DragonBall fandom can be.

Lightdasher, welcome to the Kanzenshuu community forums. I hope that you get as much out of your experience here as I have, and continue to do. It's a truly unique place within the realm of our fandom, molded and influenced by a real shonen atmosphere that always makes coming back worthwhile, and if you put in enough time you'll have the opportunity to make some great friends because of it. I'd be glad to be one of them.

Hang around, and enjoy.

Sincerely,
Da Lemmy

Hello! My name is Mark and I have been a DBZ fan since 1999. I recently bought all the series (except Super) and starting to introduce myself to DB and DB GT.

I did watch all 131 of Super and it was beyond amazing.

Is there a DB/DBZ/DB GTs forums here? :)

Hey there, Mark, and welcome to Kanzenshuu! Personally, it's cool seeing another virtual face that has been a fan for so long. I hope you'll like your experience here!

On the front (index) page of the site, you'll see forums separated for Kanzenshuu and Dragon Ball, so topics for DB/Z/GT topics go in the latter. Super and Kai have its own forums, DB/Z/GT topics go into either General Franchise Discussion or In-Universe Discussion (also Music, Video Games, and Fan-Created Works when applicable).

Oh great! Thank you for the reply! I knew the two sections but thought DB/Z/GT would have its own section like Super and Kai.

Hey, I'm Pyscho Jack!

I'm new to Kanzenshuu but I used to be around many forums such as AVP and the Toho Forums until I got a little older and time-to-time, became a low-key lurker those things that most definitely pique my interest without getting directly involved. I'm now back to show some love for Dragon Ball, anything related, and to show off content I have created just for it which would be my dubbing work!

I discovered this site back when the Dragon Boxes first got announced. I was wondering what the hype was all about, as I loved my orange bricks. I saw people excited about this 4:3 aspect ratio thing and proper colors and whatnot. Made no sense to me at the time, I had zero knowledge of picture quality facts back then. But, that was my original discovery of this site. Over the years as I researched more and more things Dragon Ball, I kept noticing this site popping up. Once I gave English Kai and Japanese Z a real chance and loved them both, my fandom really grew and I decided to join about a year later.
