It's true.
Yeah, for some reason Microsoft has the licence to do that exclusively...That's pretty stupid.

I agree that it's stupid. That's the one thing I praise the 360 for.

What? Is that really the reason?

So Sony cannot make the PlayStation 3 play custom music in-game if they wanted?

I've got a PS3 and it lets me play custom music just fine.

Sorry, no I didn't mean to confuse anybody. The PS3 can and is able to play custom music durring gameplay. But only on certain games that allow it. Most of the games I have will not allow me to play my own music durring gameplay and it's really annoying. I don't think the reason PS3 doesn't let you play music is because it's exclusive to Microsoft. I think it's more of the 360 system itself letting you play music, where as for the PS3, it's the games that decide whether or not you can play your music. I could be totaly wrong about that though.

But back on topic: Did the first Raging Blast let you play your own music from the PS3? I never owned the game. I know Burst Limit didn't let you play music from your PS3.

Yeah, the 1st one did let you play music.

My favorite game also lets me do that...Killzone 2!

It looks like you can't blow up the Planet's surface again :(. I miss doing that in the past few games.

Are we talking about games in general or just Raging Blast? I've been able to listen my own while playing Warhawk on the PS3 so I don't think Microsoft has some exclusive hold for that. Don't take my word as law though. However, if Microsoft does have that license that's pretty annoying and kind of a dick move on there part. I wouldn't praise them for being dicks.

EDIT: OH WAIT THIS WAS COVERED. NEVER MIND!

Anyway back to Raging Blast, the front page says "later this month" for the PS3 has there been an update for a specific date? Is there any hope of the demo coming this Thursday(the next update day)?
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

As far as I know Bayonetta, Tekken 6, Super/Regular Street Fighter 4, Raging Blast and now RB2 let you play your own music during gameplay.

Also I like the demo of RB2(Japanese version), the music is good, the gameplay is nice and the best part is that YOU CAN NOW PAUSE THE GAME DURING SUPER ATTACKS AND THROWS!!!!!!!
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

Just had a couple of play sessions with the demo and had a blast. I love the design of the arenas, and I like the "weight" you feel in the attacks you make. Also, Kid Buu is super cheap. :P

My only concern so far is that I feel the game is a little too fast paced..I mean, while I feel that's part of the fun, it's just when I'm attacking the computer my character is going to town on him zipping all over the place and I don't feel I have precise control over my actions. Then again, it's probably just me getting used to the fighting system. Oh, well.

Some other things I want to ask...

1. How exactly do you perform special attacks? I only recently received an Xbox and am not familiar with all the button combinations yet, and I can't read what's in the skill list.
*edit: nevermind, just played it again and got it down. Really should've found that out sooner.
2. I'm hearing there's two music tracks? That's weird, because it's the same song for both stages on my demo.

Now that is just poor game design, in that you were not able to do this normally.

Pretend the controller is a PS3 controller, in most games the button mapping is the same. Instead of A think X and instead of B think O etc. I don't know how different RB2 is to RB1 in terms of controls but I'd imagine they are the same. As for multiple songs, I can't say.

Cheap ass excuses you guys make.
No one bases their decision on whether or not to buy a game, solely on it's music. However, I will admit that the inclusion of Faulconer Production's score on the Season Sets, probably had something to do with their enormous sales.

Unfortunately, that's not true. I know about a dozen people who were psyched for Turtles in Time Re-Shelled... and then refused to buy it because it didn't have the same music that the old one did. Some of these same people (and others) are also basing whether they buy the re-release of the X-Men arcade game on whether it has the same music. It's bad enough that a few are refusing to buy the latter because of Kyle Hebert overdubbing the old voice acting.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

I'm not sure if I should buy this or Splatterhouse? The demo was good, but I'm not sure if the game is really worth $60.

Somewhere around 2 weeks ago now? I don't really feel like looking up the specifics. lol A friend of mine, Nostal/Treevax, was invited to a French convention that had a 95% complete demo of the game playable. He decided to end all the speculation on the final members of the roster and took videos of the final characters as well as supers and ultimates for them and some others that weren't in the original RB as well.
Direct translations of the Korean DB Online timeline and guidebook.
