I hope this gets ported to the consoles and gets an international release.

By the way, who's developing this? From the camera perspective and gameplay, it looks a lot like Spike.

It mostly likely will, so far it seems like the controls are complex and could be easily switched to a console-style. Not to mention I'm 80% sure Spike has a hand in this game.

Plus if they milk it as both arcade and then console, they could probably make a tidy profit from it.

Why do none of these discussions have Piccolo listed in the character roster? He's in the trailer twice.
This will never not be my sig:

I can't believe this is on-topic.

Cheers for that, he's added now

The game looks like a 3D remake of Legends, and I wanted to see a DBZ game like this for a long time. This better come out for the 360, and give us a good character list.

I really hope Spike is not developping this, but I hope it is a remake of Legends!

I just got The Legend in the mail yesterday (finally), and I must say... The trailer reminded me tremendously of The Legend. I hope this game gets ported to home console, because this whole four-player versus more looks like fun. If the arcade version doesn't have a story mode, I hope they add one in for the home release. A four-player story mode would be awesome!

If this game does get release for the 360 and PS3 then I hope for a story mode similar to Budokai 3, and at least 40 characters or more.

I'm almost not sure which thread to post in regarding this game, because it feels as though we have two or three. o.o

Yeah I made this one to be far more definitive than the other two, this way there's a correctly named thread and a first post which incorporates all the necessary information.

Based on the video footage and the fact that this is an arcade release, I'm willing to bet this is being developed by the same team that does the Gundam VS. games. At least, I hope so, because those games kick absurd amounts of ass. Considering that this is an arcade release, it kind of has to appeal to a more competitive audience, and I don't think the Sparking/Raging Blast engine is up to that. My guess is that it'll have a much smaller cast as well, probably no more than 30-35 characters, but with far more varied movesets.

Oh My GAWD. This looks AWESOME. The graphics remind me of the first Tenkaichi intro. Amazing.
I've been longing for a game with a visual style as cool as this to hit the next-gen console market. So far the only one we had was Burst Limit, which was too limited in its gameplay, unfortunately. This simply MUST be released on X360 and PS3! I simply can't get enough of that trailer!

Well, at least Spike is taking advantage of the four player system in Tag VS. I'm still not that impressed though. Tag VS plus claymation does not a new game make.

How do we know it is Spike that is developing this game? It hasn't been said anywhere, has it?

Because the character models look a bit like Spike's. Nothing has been confirmed, though.

I think that's not doing these models justice with that comparison. They look rather amazing compared to what we've gotten in the past.

I'm reserving first impressions until more useful information is released.

If anything the models look like Dimps' Budokai 1 models, but honestly, they just look different from what we have seen until now.

The characters run! They actually move like normal people. This game is already better than everything that came out in the last decade.
