Hyped as hell! Too bad it's just the Prison Planet arc (and the Society Survival one, but I don't care for it that much). Would've been cool to get the Dark Dragon Balls one as well. Still, more Trunks, Blue Goku vs SSJ4 Goku, berserk Goku, Golden Cooler, more Fuu... All great stuff to (probably) see with some actual context, outside of the main story.

it's in the new Vjump... It will be an Anime or an OVA.

Heroes is indeed going to get an animation. Finally Dragon Ball franchise will have its more than deserved anime that dare to bring the different, that dare to leave the comfort zone! HYPE AS HELL!!

According to this source, the anime will adapt/focus on Prison Planet saga and the first episode is going to air on July the 1st.

I can't believe that eight years later, Fu would not only be brought back, he would also appear in an anime... I'm so proud of that cute little baby that grew up into this marvelous kid! Even though they haven't appeared yet in Universe Mission, hopefully we get to see (Xeno) Bardock and (Xeno) King Vegeta too.

I'm honestly more shocked it them this long to pull the trigger on some kind of anime relating to Heroes. I hope it will at least be decent material to add to the Dragon Ball lore.

They said there would be multiple episodes, but no mention of length or a TV airing. I'm thinking a short-ish Pokemon Generations type deal, maybe streaming on the site's new Prison Planet URL via a Youtube embed or something.

If that's the case then they might be 10 or so minute long shorts. With Toriyama still being involved and Super being as big as it is it wouldn't make much sense to have 2 full length TV shows going up against each other.
