It's the same basic DBO story: the Makai baddies enslaved him, players broke the control, now he works with Trunks.

So there's Evil Bardock and then Xeno Bardock? WTF is the difference? :/

There is no "Evil Bardock". There is Bardock (from TV Special & EoB), the Masked Man (which is Bardock, but his identity wasn't revealed), and then Bardock: Xeno, which is Masked Man without the mask.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Ah okay. That makes better sense.

After watching Resurrection F, I realised a great new costume card would be Bills in his night robe!

And just for the hilarity of fan outrage, DB Evolution characters! Though, for soooo many reasons that'd never happen.

I don't get why people keep bringing evolution back lelike it's a cool thing. Just on another thread someone was hoping for a potential super/evolution crossover. Why would anyone want that?

Heroes website got a design overhaul. Nothing too major though: http://www.carddass.com/dbh/

They released the official preview CM for GDM3, which seems to focus on SSG Goku, Beerus and Xeno Bardock: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6Mwy-Z2alg

They also changed how their card lists are displayed (though you can switch back tot he original): http://www.carddass.com/dbh/cardlist/?s ... ory=133302

But the best part is this (now if only they all had names):

I think you misunderstand my intentions. I wasn't much of a fan of the movie. I tried to remove the idea from my head that it's DB and watched it as a separate entry, but it wasn't the genre or type of movie I'd enjoy. I simply would love it for the reactions. Not denying I would use Evolution Piccolo for a few battles. Or Goku for a new Team Goku.

Well... I kinda get you since I relish on fans reactions every time Broli gets something new. But I actually find Broli interesting. Evolution is just a terrible movie, not just a terrible adaptation of Dragon Ball. Even the old Chinese adaptation is better, and apparently the Korean is not bad either.

I don't like the What-ifs for the classic characters from the series, but I must say that I really like that DBO and RPG feel of the avatar costumes.
Would be great to have them in a video game outside of Heroes.

That would make sense given the theme of the set, but it looks like Beerus' temple to me.

I literally find it funny that the female Kaioshin is the Berserker class for the avatar race. That third level outfit of hers looks good though.
