Nah, I don't like male-female fusions. Doesn't make much sense (don't say Old Kai).

More info: DBF has a StreetPass function. If you obtain data from other players, it will automatically make fusions if the characters set have good compatibility.

Also, a bit more info on the combat:

• There’s 3 types of energy (though, it doesn't what the types are)
• If you attack with an effective type, you can deal 1.5% more damage (a la Pokemon)
• There's a "Full-Throttle Attack" where the combo is different from normal attacks

I don't know why, but have a gut feeling we still have one more piece of info from that issue of V-Jump. We have one full page (the Towale page), but only bits and pieces of the other page (Beerwhis, Cellza, Ginyman, Universe 6 fighters). I'm also pretty sure there's another fusion we haven't seen yet considering the cut-off on the U6 pic.

I want to know what's not being shown...
