Man I'm getting really tired of stuff like "Summer" and "Winter" release getting thrown around when we all know they mean they mean August or March. Just say August or March. It's the same exact wait but it makes me less mad when I know exactly when instead of thinking "MAYBE it'll be here soon" but I'm just waiting until the very last week of the season.

I really want a Kefla trailer now though. Baby looks great.

They do it when they aren't 100% sure when it will come out. Any number of things can cause a delay, destructive bugs can be found right before release, it could fail certification, something could happen with localization, there are any number of things that can cause a delay so they only announce the date close to release.
Also I'm willing to bet the 8th DLC will be January or February.

I had it on ps4 moved over to switch. I have a 99 Saiyan who can go ssgss and a lvl 65 Frieza race who can golden lol I just got both of those transformations this week.

Also will dlc 3 have an extra story mode? As I loved the one in 1+2 ( not sure which I just bought as bought the double pack)

Every pack is half of another pack, the first of the pair being the foundation of the next one: So yeah, Extra Pack 4 will probably have a story mode.

I'm honestly not really excited for this. Mostly because I keep feeling like they're just stringing people along and wasting time instead of working on the next game. The battle system as it is is still rather dull and a lot of the attacks are still rather shit. I really do hate feeling negative about the game, but I just feel that they could've done so much better and given us so much better by now, and that they're just content with dishing out mediocrity.

I hear ya, man. Every time I pick up Xenoverse again, I can only play it for so long. I REALLY wish we had a longer story mode that was co-op or that I had a consistent group of people to play with.

However, I don't think they're stringing us along. I think I've seen it mentioned elsewhere that another group is working on the next installment while these DLCs are coming out. I'll be disappointed if whenever we get the announcement for XV3, that it doesn't look like a major leap form the first one. I've said it before, the Budokai sequels took huge leaps each previous installment, and I expect the same with the XV series. XV2 is a world apart from XV1, and I anticipate XV3 seriously outdoing XV2. But we'll just have to wait and see.

I just hope the developers capitalize on the concept that Infinite History mode brought.

No more Raditz to... Broly (Super), I guess (?).
Instead, actually have the ability to change the course of events of the timeline and deal with the repercussions.

Man I just really want more info on the DLC. Feels like I'm waiting a lifetime.

And I would really love a new version of the extra history mentor mission stuff with the new Broly as a mentor in XV3. Doing missions with mentors was my favorite part of the last DLC.

Unless Xenoverse 3 has it's entire foundation changed, they will all be in the roster like Xeoverse 2 has all of Xenoverse 1's roster.
