It was obvious, that these two will be as DLC. But, on other hand, it is kinda surprising, that they are first, because annoncer line for Cooler in the game. Cooler even has dedicated foler for him, looks like.

Them being DLC just means if I don't want them I don't have to buy them.

Rosé was the one I wanted playable most and he's in the cast by default.

I actually like the idea of just buying the extra characters I want and not having to pay for those I don't.

If that's true then I will be very happy, I don't know about Bardock, but I won't judge him 'till I see his gameplay.

Bardock and Broly were expected. But I expected the base Saiyans to be released first, so this may be a good sign that they will be free DLC?

This is where I eat my words about the whole "canon faithful" thing. I'll fully admit, it was naive of me to expect Kale over Broly, but I would have at least thought they'd be classy enough to avoid SSJ Bardock, even as a one-move reference. Oh well.

Hyped for Broly and disappointed by Bardock. Obviously I didn't saw neither character so I might end up loving Bardock, let's see what they bring to the table.

Although Bardock being "another Goku" and one of his moves being potentially based on Episode of Bardock is a bad start. I really don't like Episode of Bardock.

Well, we kind of had that breached beforehand: Trunks has the move that killed Android 15 in his arsenal from Movie 7 and Gohan (if Goku is on the same as well) can perform the Father-Sons Kamehameha from Movie 10.

Bardock's finishing move seems to a reference to Episode of Bardock where Bardock absolutely thrashes Chilled before blasting him into space. To be honest, that will give players satisfaction to pull it off for the win.

I think Arcs took into account of not just the manga but the anime as well for references (includes the movies, TV specials, and OVAs).
