Ok i'm glad we're finally getting confirmation of 17 and the ToP stage, but I'm weirdly more excited about the idea of "Halloween-style" stamps and lobby characters.

Am I going about to get King Kong Goku? Werewolf Yamcha? Swamp-thing Piccolo?

That's not a V-Jump scan, that's Shonen Jump

Here's another scan:

Interesting, it is not a ToP stage but something new and original.

So much green, but he looks fun.
This should be his assist:

I'm disappointed that the new stage isn't ToP, but this game is seriously lacking more stages, so anything is welcome I guess.
A world without Dragon Ball is just meh.

I won't complain since it's a free new stage..., couldn't they add the various iconic places missing from the manga first?

Anyway, I'll wait until the trailer which should be on the TGS to comment on #17. The halloween stuff looks freaking great, cool like things like this go a long way.

Vampire Vegeta for Halloween is both wonderful and an obvious choice.

Surprised no Halloween costume for Rosé.

Is it me or does it look like 17's moveset is from Xenoverse and not the actual show? Especially his green energy wave ultimate

A new stage, but...it's not from any place in Dragon Ball. They really could've put in the ToP or Hyperbolic Time Chamber instead of this weird looking training stage.

It looks like a combination of Xenoverse, Super and Z.

The lore on the new stage is that it's a place where Freeza's army trained, it was established by Sorbet after Freeza's defeat.
Out-of-universe reason, people are saying it's a esports stage and that Arcsys usually has one of these in their games.

#17 looks interesting. Considering how we already knew about him before Super's end, I wonder how much moves will they adopt from ToP, or if they make his moves based on other stuff. Seems like his electric attack is something out of the XV games.

I'm happy about the new stage, it's also strange that they aren't regularly adding new ones. I mean, considering how a lot of SFIV's profit comes from DLC costumes, and how ArcSys probably won't add costumes, I think adding stage DLCs could be the way for them to make more money, and keep the game alive with it. There are a ton of iconic places still missing from this game, so it's not like that no one cares about them anymore.

It seems to me they've been intentionally avoiding putting stuff in the game before it has appeared in the US Toonami broadcast to prevent spoilers, so that could be partly why 17's move set doesn't have more of the new stuff.

So of all the interesting stages they could have put in from the series like King Kai's Planet or Beerus' Planet....they've just gone for a generic looking original stage?

It's meant for esports. ArcSys gives similar stages to most of their games.

I don't mind originality.. Its just a stage. I wish the costumes were for the playable characters and not just the avatars.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

Btw, am I the only one who thought it's the Dark Tournament arena from Yuyu Hakusho at first sight?
Alone for this reason I'm interested. 8)

Also, the reflector lamps look like the bottom of Frieza's chair.

I just noticed all the new alternate colors. Guess it's time to get farming so I can get Cooler/17/Halloween colors at release. Story Mode here I come...

Is there anything positive about this game in your eyes? If not, what's the reason for you constantly shitposting in here?
