Final Bout Ending Question

So, for years, I've been trying to get nice, clean screenshots of the Final Bout cast's profile images without any overlapping text. I saw a video today that showed that you could see these images after beating the game (sometimes the cast name would overlap the character image, but I figured I could get what I wanted by spamming the screenshot button).

So I beat the game and... nothing. No character roll call. What gives? Do I have to beat it at a higher difficulty? That's kind of dumb. I'm also not that good at the game so I'm not sure I can get 'em.
