-Add Kaioshin as a race
    -Improve the customization system to the CaC
      -Have an original Story mode
        -Make Purification permanent because it's a little unfair
          -Remove unnecessary character like Appule, Frieza Grunts, Cell Jr, Kid Gohan and Saibamen.
            -Have 4 vs 4 fight
              -Have UI as a transformation to all the races
                -Improve the models.

                We don't need 100 different kinds of Super Saiyan. Keep it to one, and have it give a balanced boost across the board.
                After that, have 1 of two directions to go with; Super Saiyan God forms or SSJ4. God forms slowly drain energy but give a massive boost, while SSJ4 doesn't drain energy, but doesn't give as much of a boost.

                Also, have Saiyan tails, ones that move like the Freeza race tails, be optional for Saiyan characters.

                Ultra Instinct should be like Potential Unleashed and Kaio-Ken, but only unlockable/usable at very high levels.

                Intro

                It needs an actual CGI intro like all the well known db games have. Maybe use the style of those beautiful cutscenes that the game has at certain points but put it into a cool intro along with some catchy music. Dont Cha la head cha la. Be original. Burst Limit has my favorite db game intro song ever. I know dimps has it in them.

                Races

                At least 2 new races. Kaioshin and Makaioshin/Demon.

                Or

                Add race sub classes. For example, instead of having kaioshin and makioshin separately, have just a Shinjin race with Kaioshin and Makaioshin/demon as sub classes.

                Add animal options for earthlings since we’ve seen tons of anthropomorphic animals in db. If we got a 3rd new race, make it Alien which would include the rest of the character features from every or most aliens we’ve seen from DB.

                Give Buus a Super Buu or Fit Buu I body type or transformation or add an absorbtion system.

                Fighting styles

                Let us at least be able to use the fighting styles of our mentors or at most, every character in the game. Worst case scenario, give us a wider range of choices for unique fighting styles for each race.

                Let us also be able to choose our own grab from our mentors or all characters.

                Finally, add a class that allows you to fight with weapons and depending on what weapon class you choose, you automatically have to have that type of weapon equipped.

                Aesthetics

                Have the graphics improve enough for the chance to be noticeable.

                Give us more accessory slots. For example, give use an accessory slot for our head, chest and waist, arms, and legs. Depending on what accessory you equip, if it interferes with another body area, then you won’t be able to equip an accessory on that body area.

                Let us either change the color of aruas or let us choose an arua from the aruas in the game. Make hair change besides the color for SSJ transformations. Give us animated tails.

                Story

                Completely original story that doesn’t recycle then plot formula of DBXV1 and DBXV2. Let their be a karma system and let their be multiple patches you can choose that lead to different endings. Like what FighterZ did plus the Tokipedia thing times 10. Really go all out with the what ifs. Like DBHeroes levels of what ifs instead of just some purple powered up old villains.

                As much support or more than XV2

                XV2 got hella support so just keep doin what they’re doin.

                Improve dat hub world

                Either make a new one or MAJORLY improve on Conton City. Add time rifts like Beerus’s Planet, Zeno’s palace, King Kai’s planet or even other universes like universe 11 or universe 2 or universe 6 Planet Sadala. Give us more hub world activities. For example, at King Kai’s time rift you can do and online or offline snake way race on your vehicles. Stuff like that.

                Have more Freeza’s Siege type of stuff. Maybe Zero Mortals Plan where Zamasu faces cover the sky and you have to fought Zamasu’s or Babidi’s Take Over where you must fight Majin Cacs and other Majin characters from the game’s roster.
                I called it that Gogeta, Bardock, and something Broly related would be in the movie before it was even announced that it was a Broly movie. 8)

                Aesthetics (Part 2)

                Add a system where, once a character reaches a certain health due to a blast, they take clothing damage. Have permanent environment destruction.

                Gameplay Mechanics

                Add beam struggles. Make it so that, if its a 3v3 or 2v2 and a beam struggle happens, the people apart of the beam struggle are invincible to anything else during the struggle. And just like the team attack setup, you can put in a command so that you can help your teammate in the beam struggle which will make it harder (not impossible but harder) for the other person to win.

                Build upon the tag-team mechanic but in a new way. Have certain attacks be compatible with other attacks allowing for a tag-team attack. For example, have Caulifla’s beam Ult and Kale’s beam Ult be compatible to become a tag-team attack just like in episode 101 of DBS. Stuff like that.

                For me personally, I want a new original story. Don't rehash the last two installments. Do like what we got in the Infinite History Story and give us choices on things that could change with branching paths. We are all familiar with the story of Dragonball.

                As for fighting, they need to continue to polish it further. Fix the netcode and make a working news board

                Lastly, look toward the modding community. They have been able to pull off some amazing things (look toward the recent mastered UI Goku Mod. The transformation is nearly straight from the anime) don't be afraid to give use power ups and abilities that may not necessarily be available in multiplayer. I'd love to be able to go all forms of Super Saiyan but for the sake of balance only be able to go up to 3.

                Would it be controversial or too much to say having a roster ignoring most Z characters/incarnations?

                Like I feel Xenoverse 3 should only have stuff from Super, GT, and Online/Heroes. That way there won't be 9 reskins for Appule or Rasberry and instead there could be room for characters like Dyspo or Toppo.

                Also, while a storyline intertwining with Online/Heroes is fine, maybe there can be also a "normal campaign" which is simply playing through the events of Super?

                1. Make raid bosses more interesting. Instead of everyone ganging up on one overpowered boss with auto dodge, have a boss with a more reasonable strength. But also add weaker minions to keep people busy. While one may have the boss's attention, the others may be picking off the weaker enemies. You can keep the giant ball attack, since that is interesting, but balance it better so it is both challenging but not overly so depending on your group size.

                2. Fix Giant Form, and give Namekians an additional Red Eyes form.

                3. Have an original storyline. No more retreading official Dragon Ball Z history for the millionth time. Toki Toki's egg created a new history, so go nuts with that.

                4. Only one new race. Not too many or quality will suffer. My choice would be Kai, since they are one of the more unique races that are currently unplayable. Have customization options for them so they can look demonic (horns and such), similar to how Frieza Race characters could be made to look like Janemba.

                5. More diverse body types. Currently, your options for body types can be summed up as height and width. From a designer standpoint, I understand why that is, since it makes them easier to animate and fit clothes on when they all use the same skeleton. But I would appreciate more variety as a player. For instance, I'd like to be able to create a chubby human, or a short Chiaotzu sized human. For the Buu race, I'd like to be able to make skinny males and fat females.

                6. Personality type for CaC. This would affect the character's animations and reactions. For a Cheerful personality, the character would smile a lot, including in idle poses, and would show a lot of enthusiasm in cutscenes. For a Brooding type, the character would be stand offish, avoiding eye contact, crossing his arms, and frowning most of the time (think Vegeta or Piccolo). A Heroic type would act like a show-off, making dramatic poses, acting smug, etc (like Gotenks).

                7. Weapons change attack combos. Equip a sword in your accessories slot? Swing it around in melee.

                It wouldn’t make sense to get rid of all the Z characters. Thats a waste of characters. They can just add on to what they already have.

                Z is the most popular form of Dragon Ball. Having a game that already has Z characters, get its Z characters deleted and replaced with Super, GT, etc would be dumb

                Yeah. The thing is unless they're going to completely scrap everything and work from scratch (which I doubt), that wouldn't be a smart move. If they're using the same engine, they can just transfer every character, item, clothing, accessory, etc that they created in XV1 and XV2, tweak them a bit, and add to them. XV3 is probably just going to be a bigger and better XV2.

                Now MAYBE for the new characters, they can focus on non-Z characters. That wouldn't be too unreasonable. I expect the new characters will be a mixed bag of everything. Maybe something like Master Roshi, Taao, Mecha Frieza, Hatchiyack, Kale, Baby Vegeta, and Super Saiyan Blue Evolution Vegeta. Oh yeah, and Heroes stuff, so throw in a Super Saiyan 4 Gohan or something.

                Yeah, I was just worried about balance, though I should not care for a game type such as Xenoverse

                I believe that either a game does a small-medium balanced roster, or they go absolutely all out balance-be damned. In this case, Xenoverse should be the latter, and perhaps it could include stuff from Dragon Ball Part 1, GT, etc.

                The free versus matches should be more customization, with stuff like map, time of day for map, "mood of a fight" to modify dialogue (Will the dialogue in the fight be as though this was training? A fun exhibition match? A death battle?), and the ability to do 1v2, 1v3, 2v3, 2v1, 3v1, 3v2, etc. And maybe the A.I vs A.I battles like in Raging Blast 2? Maybe for custom battles (Alone, not for PQs or anything else), you can customize the skill loadout and costumes a character wears?

                -More complex combo system. Right now it's just barely above the combo systems of the Tenkaichi games.

                -Balance. Cool it with the RPG elements and keep that mess out of PvP... or at least make it optional like Budokai.

                -Add OG Dragon Ball characters. Don't care how just find a workaround to flight.

                -Remove the random mooks from the roster. They all suck.

                You're suggestions are similar to mine! I think raid bosses should only be large enemies like Hirudegarn or Final Form Demigra. This would eliminate the 'chase the boss around the map while they're constantly being knocked away by your teammates' problem and bosses would be much more unique and challenging!

                I agree with everything except for your final suggestion. I can't see what removing characters would solve. It'd probably just make some people mad.

                Who cares about those people? The playerbase at large are the audience that truly matters and they certainly don't want those weak nobodies

                How would removing Saibaman from the roster improve the game? The characters are already there and ready to use. Removing them would only limit our options, especially when they're being used as NPCs anyway. Unless you want to remove them from missions too, which would be an even dumber move. Not every character has to be OP like Ultra Instict Goku to justify their existence.

                Because they're a waste of space and should stay as NPC in missions where they belong. I don't know anyone who is a legit fan of any of these characters let alone wants to play as them.

                It also opens up another issue XV3 could improve upon- Don't pull a Tenkaichi and overstuff the roster with as many characters as possible. Just focus on what they could add to the game and fine-tuning them so the roster doesn't end up an unbalanced mess.

                Just fix the smoothness of the gameplay.. Xenoverse 1 and from what I've seen of 2 is so damn clunky and stiff that for me it was almost unplayable.. especially online.

                I'm not a fan of someone floating above me and they'd still react to a missed gut punch.
