Dragonball Movie Game For PSP?

Post by Pain » Sun Dec 14, 2008 11:14 pm

I've recently come across an article on a fan site that says the Dragonball movie will be getting a video game for the PSP in March of '09. What do you guys think of this?

I don't have a PSP so it won't matter to me. However, you'd think something would've been announced by now.

You mean http://dbthemovie.com which has a scan confirming it.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

I think it will suck.

Games based on movies, save for the Spider-Man films, always suck.

Except for Goldeneye.

I don't have a PSP, thus it doesn't affect me either way.

Doesn't the DS outnumber PSP (in units sold) anyway?

Nice, looks like another promising PSP DragonBall game.

A fighter, huh? Wonder what kind of roster it'll have, and if it'll play anything like the Shin Budokai series.

For some reason I'm imagining something like the original Mortal Kombat. Just get some video of people making the movements and then splicing them into the game. I don't know why, but that's the image I have.

I think we all saw this coming.

Don’t have a PSP, but I’m curious as to how this will compare to the mainstream continuity fighters.

Probably because you're thinking of this. ("Redundant redundancy" at it's finest.)

This may get ported to the PS2, just a guess.

Question: Can anyone use the term "hit movie" in relation to a film regardless of its success and/or failure?

I mean, do you actually have to achieve some sort of status to use the term "hit movie", or can you just slap it on any old movie-related merchandise?

Either way, even if I did have a PSP (which I don't) I wouldn't pay money for a Wong Ball game when I can buy a real Dragon Ball one instead.

I've got a Psp, so maybe one day I'll pick this up when it hits the bargain bin.

For some reason, that makes me think of this being like some kind of poor bootleg game from Hong Kong based off of the bootleg toys. :P

I own a PSP, so I'll probably get this one. In the not so proper way.

I hope it's a motion captured fighter, I really do.

Seriously though I'm glad it's on a format that I'll never have to experience looking at it.
