MasenkoHA wrote:Not sure if its part of the Kikuchi score but I assume it is since Dragon Ball Z abridged tends to mostly pull its music from there but what's that sort of rising hope/ triumphant music TFS used a couple times?

They used it when Super Kami Guru is falsely building Nail up as Namek's number one son and more recently when Gohan asked Piccolo for clothes like him.

I haven't heard it yet in the 10 or so episodes I've watched so far with the Japanese BGM but I jut assumed they got it from there but apolgozies if they didnt take it from the Japanese BGM
I'm almost certain that's from Yamamoto, if not some other person that sounds like him, but it's definitely not Kikuchi. You'll wanna search through the Kai soundtracks for it.

EDIT: friggin' new pages...

Oh yep. Found it. The piece was called "Courage fills the heart" from Kai's score.

Damn shame he stole most of his compositions because Yamamoto's score was my favorite Dragon Ball score.

Yes that theme is good but Personally these 2 are some of the best Themes for Kid Gohan like this one when gohan attacks Raditz and does a brave attempt to save Dende from Dodoria : https://youtu.be/rwiAqjND_vw

And this one too which is more of lighthearted but really nice theme mostly played in Saiyan Arc : https://youtu.be/U6U3zmw2DQc
I prefer Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, DB/Z/GT Movies, Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball GT in Japanese.
For DBZ Kai and two new Movies I like both Dub and Sub. I Prefer Shunsuke Kikuchi Soundtracks over All other Composers.

I'm looking for the theme that plays a lot in the early Saiyan Saga

I think it played when Raditz came out of his space pod and when Raditz was explaining the origin of the Saiyan race

You're talking about the original Kikuchi score for DBZ, right? Also need an exact scene where the cue was tracked (this isn't specific enough).
BGM forever! If only more people paid attention to it... well, I intend to change that.

Yeah, the original Kikuchi score.

And when Raditz basically says "I'm your older brother Raditz, youre a Saiyan warrior" etc etc

When Raditz came out of his space pod, M725 played. M727 (the so-called Vegeta theme) played just before M725.

What is this OST called. Is there an isolated name for it?

It comes from the M600 series (recording session for the Dragon Ball Movie 3, which took place in June 22, 1988 at Avaco Creative Studio, Tokyo, Japan). It was first played in the movie in 11:01, when Chaozu's castle was introduced (when Goku first saw it). It was released, it's number is M615.

I just wanna know what a certain song is, IDK if it's an opening or an insert song but it goes like.
"Wooaaaaa ooohh Oma e kauooo" or something, I'm just writing it phonetically.

Lol, that's pretty vague. But if I had to guess, the song you're referring to is "Mind Power... Ki".

Kinda, but it's more rocky and he's really screaming it like "WOOOAAAAH UUUOOHH!!!" and there's like a female singer doubling him in the background.
Man, I wish I knew the words.

Edit: I just found it as a recomdeded video on the video you just posted. Thanks indirectly lel.

Hello friends! I haven't been here in a while, but I consistently get more comments on my videos on my Youtube channel. For those who don't know, a few years ago I scrubbed the surround sound track to isolate as much of the unreleased bgm as I could, and organized it based on kenisu's webpage. I've noticed that he's done some updating, and I've always known that the way I've got my videos organized by number is probably wrong, so if anyone wants to help me fix all of that, please say so here or pm me. I'll probably just let you into my youtube account so you can do it yourself. Though perhaps you all should come to an agreement on what cue should be called what number, first.

Here's my channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtKYy4 ... HhmSmKtKaw

And a sample, one of my faves: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xELftmSB38w
