Does anyone have the GT BGM?
Not sure if it's against the rules to ask, but a while back a user did a huge project and released the GT BGM on the forum, and I was hoping someone might still have all the files. Unfortunately, the link on the old thread is dead and I don't remember if I ever downloaded them or not. If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it!
An interviewer asks, "The soundtrack in Sonic 3 has become legendary. Is it true that you worked with Michael Jackson on it?" Takashi Iizuka kills all of our hopes and dreams by replying, "You know, those are just rumors, and SEGA does not want to say anything about them. So they will forever be just rumors..." WHY!?

I'm unsure if the following is the project in question but I've uploaded the 77-track version I have to the Internet Archive where it can be heard (as well as downloaded).DBZfan29 wrote:Not sure if it's against the rules to ask, but a while back a user did a huge project and released the GT BGM on the forum, and I was hoping someone might still have all the files. That looks to be it, only problem is that it's in 128kbps (which is the audio equivalent of cropping it!).MadSpecialist wrote:I'm unsure if the following is the project in question but I've uploaded the 77-track version I have to the Internet Archive where it can be heard (as well as downloaded).DBZfan29 wrote:Not sure if it's against the rules to ask, but a while back a user did a huge project and released the GT BGM on the forum, and I was hoping someone might still have all the files. Thanks for pointing that out, the files have now been replaced with an 192 kbps source.KBABZ wrote:That looks to be it, only problem is that it's in 128kbps (which is the audio equivalent of cropping it!).MadSpecialist wrote:I'm unsure if the following is the project in question but I've uploaded the 77-track version I have to the Internet Archive where it can be heard (as well as downloaded).DBZfan29 wrote:Not sure if it's against the rules to ask, but a while back a user did a huge project and released the GT BGM on the forum, and I was hoping someone might still have all the files. Re: Does anyone have the GT BGM?
That might have fixed another issue; the on-page preview for the 128 versions never worked, and the files turned up as Corrupted on my PSP (I know I know, it's my preferred music device due to the folder structure). The previews now work, so hopefully that fixed it!MadSpecialist wrote:Thanks for pointing that out, the files have now been replaced with an 192 kbps source.
