Music that immediately makes you tear up

This one made me cry like a baby. Its just so instantly nostalgic and was masterfully used in one of the most beautifully sad scenes in the anime.

This forum is so over-dramatic that it's not even funny.

Damn, I don't know about immediately tearing up, but this piano piece of Chozetsu Dynamic does something to my heartstrings

Other tracks that give me feelings close to that include this track from Battle of Gods and this track from the English dub of History of Trunks.

I wouldn't say any of the tracks make me immediately tear up, but I'm quite fond of these:

I'm sure there are more but these come to mind right now.

I have one, one that has a special place in my heart. It wasn't used very often, but it was very emotional, and even up to this day, it does wonders to my soft heart. I recently found out that it comes from Movie 9 OST, but I recall it being used in the Anime (Post Buu Saga episode where everybody's partying, Goku then arrives late and explains why, that's when the song plays)

If anyone wants to listen, it is here at 7:05

Simply heartwarming

This happens to me purely out of nostalgia, and whenever I hear the first few notes of 'Makafushigi Adventure' I feel those tears welling up.

Kikuchi's music in general has that effect on me, and while I know it's nostalgia, I can't say the same about the music from other show's I loved as a kid.

I will agree with Doctor, the Hitori Janai instrumental from GT has always had such a special place in my heart. I watched the final scene of Goku and Kuririn at Kame House the other week for the first time in years and man, it's still hard not to get semi-teary eyed.

I'm sorry but could you at least post stuff that makes you cry, even if it does take a little. Otherwise this thread isnt any different from literally hundreds of others.

What if none make me cry? It takes more than music to make some people cry.

I dont know really then. The only thing that comes to mind would be comenting on other people's entries or not posting at all. LOL. But just posting good music would mean the thread would be generic and would be thus closed.

As a guy who loves the Faulconer OST (don't kill me) I always found this track to be emotional

I keep telling myself that GT was this awful dumpster fire, but then I keep finding things about it that I love. Dan Dan is already my favourite DB OP, so hearing this beautiful orchestral version of it always gets me. It helps that the scene it's from was so great. I'd argue it's one of, if not the best transformation scene in the series.
