Call me old fashioned, but I've gotta go with food 'ol "Cha La Head Cha La." I have 3 versions (Original, Engrish, & Jungle Remix) on my Mp3 player. I like Spirit vs Spirit and We Gotta Power a bunch, too.

Head Cha la's one of my faves too, when I'm feeling down, I play a DVD and Cha-La comes on, and I feel at peace with the world once again. :)

"If I don't do it, who will?" (Movie 13 closing)
Trunks Special closing song (forget the name; something to do with Hope)
DAN DAN Kokoro Hikarate 'ku (Spanish and Japanese)
Spirit vs Spirit

And, needless to say, Cha La Head Cha La...

I guess if I had to choose one to listen to forever it'd have to be Cha La Head Cha La... I can't get enough of that "ahhh ahh ahh" during the main chorus. ;)

Well besides "Head-Cha-La", the other one I love is "Hikari no Tabi" from the Bardock special. It's just a beautiful piece.

I probably like Cha-La and Boku-Tachi wa Tenshi Datta best, but I can't think of a theme song I didn't actually like. As far as movies go- Marugoto FTW!

"Cha La" has a very special place in my heart; I remember bein' 11 and watchin' Dragon Ball Z on the International Channel. It always gave me a warm, fuzzy feeling. "Makafushigi Adventure!" is another one dear to me. And "Dragon Ball Densetsu", from DB movie 3. But my favorite, though I have no idea if it was ever in the TV series (someone PLEASE tell me if it was, so I can hunt it down!) is "Aitsu wa Son Goku"! A tribute to your hero and mine!

''We Got Power''

Heh the first time I heard ''Head Cha La'' I was a huge dubbie. I remember thinking to myself what the hell is this pile of..

''Within the melted polar ice, If there’s a dinosaur, I want to train it to balance on a ball!''

Well I'm sure you can understand, huge change from,

''Dragon, Dragon, rock the Dragon, Dragonball Z''

 Yeah. The Dub has this annoying habit of over accentuating (spelling?) the "bam bam you're dead" side of DBZ, which I think is quite sad really.

Eclipse from February 2006 wrote:I have a huge favorite list of songs, several finding their way into my burned CD's and what not.

My first up favorite song would be Saikyo Wa No Fusion. The song is kinda a bit jazzy at first, but then goes into a great vocal bit, then awesome guitars as well. Plus, who wouldn't love it after seeing Movie 12?!

My other would be Ore Ga Yarankya Dare Ga Yaru(If I can't do it, who will?!). I mean, it's a kickass song, with a great rock BGM. And the lyrics are well done as well. This is probably one of the best songs in the Dragon Ball Z movie song continium.

My next two favorite would easily be Makafushigi Adventure and Mezase Tenkaichi. Makafushigi Adventure is a bit more of a pop song then the other opening themes of Z and GT. But it's more of a preppy kind, and addicting too. I can continously listen to the "Let's try try try makafushigi" part over and over. And Mezase Tenkaichi is more of a rock song as well, with awesome lyrics! And don't forget about 'Dragon Ball Legend' (Dunno it's Japanese name)

The opening themes are somewhat not my truly favourite, though I do like them. DAN DAN Kokoro Hikerate 'ku was ironically my introduction to Japanese music and the Dragon Ball openings. I love the original by FIELD OF VIEW as well as the one done by Zard. I do love CHA-LA-HEAD-CHA-LA 2005 way more than the original....but I will always have a special place in my heart for We Gotta Power and We Were Angels.
And there you have it :)

Tough one...
I would have to say: "cha-la head cha-la", "solid state scouter", "aoi kaze no hope", "sabitsuita machine gun de", "dan dan kokoro hikareteku", "piccolo-san daisuki", "kuchibue no kimochi", "makafushigi adventure"...
There's just so many!

While it's not a theme song, Mezase Tenkaichi is my favorite Dragon Ball song.

It's gotta be closely tied between Dan Dan Kokoro and We Gotta Power, they are my all time favourite spine chillers in relation to Dragonball nostalgia.
