Mike, you're thinking
Sparking! METEOR. That's the one where Wakamoto moaned all of his lines, even his angry scenes (
here's a comparison between
Z,
Budokai 1,
Sparking METEOR!,
Raging Blast 2,
Kai). I have to disagree with Health, though. I think Wakamoto actually
started trying during the Cell Games,
specifically with episode #88-89. Of course, his voice really does sounded aged and gurgly.
He can't do his short bursts of screaming dialogue anymore, which I feel was always one of his strongest signature techniques.
Well, I guess there's always the future productions for Wakamoto to get better again...
EDIT: The
Dragon Ball Heroes promos are still using Yamamuro Tadayoshi's designs, aren't they? They certainly look like he's doing key animation or supervising.

"When are you going to release Dragonball ****!"
Hardest I've laughed at the podcast in a long time.

Has H**hi become the new H-word? Also, I agree with you guys on Manga's Twitter guy. I would not want my company to be represented that way, and if it's the president of the company being disrespectful openly, that's even worse.

Aw, not liking the Dragon Ball Heroes theme (which, confusingly enough, appears to also be called Dragon Soul)?
I think it grew on me.

I dont know about a twitter fad, but I know about a youtube fad , the so called "imma-clan" its a bunch of guys with usernames that are basicly "immacharacter" and they post (kinda)in-character. It used to be just dragonball characters but now there are a lot of imma´s from other franchises ,too.
Also Dragonball is fantasy to me.

The imma's do put up some really cool stuff on occasion, though.
I think I will forever find it funny that as much as Mike knows about both the series and internet culture, things like this escape him. Are they necessarily worth anyone's time, no, but it's interesting.

Umm... what? I clearly explained exactly what they were, how they worked, precisely why I didn't personally find them funny, and how to avoid having them interfere with your Internet experience if you didn't want them to.
How does that "escape" me...? o_O

I disagree with you and find them completely unfunny/uninteresting myself. I think it's just preference.

Part of me is expecting you to... "expect" this sort of madness more than a lot of us. But at the same time you have all the more reason to disregard it because you've gone through so much BS before. I apologize for putting words in your mouth.

Hey guys, another great episode. My favourite part was when Meri's 'Dragon Ball *****' got censored. 'Dragon Ball H*shi' fan-made commercial for next years 'April Fools' day guys?

NOOOO!!! That would put salt on the wound! The fandom was screwed enough with the AF joke already, can you imagine how it would get even more screwed by doing that?!
