I've always been interested in the proto-Dragon Ball stuff! Was great to hear a synopsis of this one. It was mentioned that it's pretty easy to find it nowadays, does that include in English?

No, these proto-works have not been officially licensed/released in English. We, of course, hope that one day they will! Other countries/publishers have licensed the one-shot compilations, so they're certainly on the table for a company like Viz.
