I was hoping to hear an actual good tune playing and instead it's some generic bland video game-y track which also feels lifeless. If this is the work of Nagasaki he's definitely gotten worse at it despite already being terrible.

It's not... terrible. It feels like a SNES game, and I do like Fight it Out's tune,.

It's not as bad as the Japanese NEP at least.

For a video game it'd work out but this is a television series so it doesn't fit very well unfortunately.

Hmm, the two Japanese recap tracks (also used for the recap in the extended cut for Battle of Gods) sound much more stylish than this, more "organic" if that makes sense, more orchestral.
But it's still okay, although I've never been fond of those synthetic-sounding instruments they like to use on instrumentals (it was the same with instrumentals for Cha-La Head-Cha-La, Chaser, We Gotta Power or We Were Angels, why not using real-sounding instruments like the instrumentals for Over the Star and Win Tough Fight?)

That sounds more "MIDI" and "old game" than the Kuu-Zen-Zetsu-Go NEPs which sounds more natural than this in the end.
But it's fine cause it's just for recaps.

Fight it out!!

Words:jam Compose&Arrange:Yoh Yamazaki

The dark cloud’s getting closer to me
in every moment
I'm so excited 'bout this feeling
even if it’s dangerous

OK. Bring it on! Right now!
I’m the strongest of the universe
All I do is show you my unlimited power
Go! KAMEHAMEHA!

( Get ready )
Fight it out, Fight it out till the end of world
( Beat the Spirit Bomb )
Look around and you know that you’re not fighting by yourself
( Get ready )
Fight it out, Fight it out for the dream of world
( Fusion, You & me )
Let’s gather the power of our friends
Never gonna give up
Fight it out and do our best
To save our planet earth
and I say, Go! KAMEHAMEHA!!!

Fight it out, wow wow
Fight it out, yeah
Fight it, Fight it out!!!

Never give up!!!

Words:Shoko Compose&Arrange:Mine-Chang

Get up and let’s go! We were born to save our universe
Stand up and move on! Don’t forget the words our fathers said

We are unbeatable! ‘Cuz we have families who love us
We are unbreakable! ‘Cuz now we have our chain of hearts, we are always one

Never give up on your dream you believe
Never give up on your days you conceive
Gotta be tough, gotta make it together
Don’t you know,I’m the one to stand by your side

Better to try than to make no action
Better to cry than to fake your emotion
Gotta be us, gotta fight them together
Don’t you know, you’re the one who make my soul complete

Whoa, huh? An original song on the Japanese end referenced a term unique to the English dub. That's interesting....
A "rather haggard" translation of a line from Future Gohan in DBZ, provided to FUNimation by Toei:
"To think of fighting that is this fun...so, it was pleasant fight, as many as, therefore is a feeling which is good the fight where."

I thought that was "EAT The Spirit Bomb". Looks like I wasn't far off, though.

Thanks again, that would be awesome. Do you know if the eyecatchers are different from the Japanese version?

Ok, so the NEP is based on the ending, just like the first two arcs, it seems.

Not as unfitting as the Recap BGM but still not quite there. Ugh, one of the things that the Japanese cut did somewhat better was in its Recap/NEP tracks which here makes me wish they had a music-less Japanese audio track.

This week's Episode of "The Final Chapters" will cover at least up until some point in Dragon Ball Z #209, as in the NEP it shows a scene with C-18 from that episode, I wonder how far in it will go?. I'm very impressed so far with our version, and am really liking what I've seen thus far, along with the score.

Goten Korean voice is awesome. Both in Kai and Z. Boy I miss watching Dbz in Korean. Wish I could see all of Kai in Korean. Its by far IMHO the best dub. I'm starting to grow on Gohan new voice. Its a different take. But I feel it can lead to something. Goku voice as always kicks ass.
