I'd say yes, only 'cause there's a random i in the first one that isn't in either Vegeta or Kakarot(to).

Technically, in English, the best spelling would most likely be "Vegeto," since the double t's make no sense, since "Kakarot" doesn't have it, wouldn't it? Then again, it still doesn't make sense because it doesn't have the "o" at the end either. I guess the excuse in English COULD be that they switch them around when coming up with Vegito's name after they fuse, but I don't know.

Yeah, Vegeto wouldn't be a bad approach either. I know it's not popular, but I understand why Viz did Vegerot.

Yeah, but "Vegerot's" dumb & unappealing. You understand why they went with it, but when FUNi's half-shot Z dub is more accurate than the translation of the manga, there gets to be a problem there.

No, not likely.

Think about it, though. Clinkenbeard voiced Kid Gohan after playing Luffy, it's, basically, Luffy's catchphrase when threatening someone, & it's a bit of playing around with the translation, as far as I can tell from the subs. If it didn't fit well in the moment, I'd swear it was a shout out of some kind.

Was talking with OmegaRockman. He has the set and took this screenshot. Apparently they went and corrected Vegito to Vegetto. Still waiting on my own set to come, but was shocked to see it.

Enma - current Japanese romanization of the name.

Yama - Original name based on Sanskrit Romanization, since it originated from Buddhism.

It's more of different approaches for a similar idea. Depends on how far you want to go with it.

That was quite good. I kinda expected it to be subtle, much like a lot of the Kai performances. All it needed was a hint of honesty in Schemmel's tone, which he delivered. Can't wait to get my copy of Part 3 now

Nope, that is what the Japanese translation in the subtitles had.

It's always been pronounced "Vegito" in English & this time is no different. What differs is that they changed the spelling to how fans of the Japanese version usually do. That's all that's different for it.
