Streaming Dragon Ball Kai

Post by simtek34 » Fri Oct 21, 2016 9:17 am

I have thought, after Super being added to Crunchyroll, Should they add Kai and Kai The Final Chapters to be streamed? I would really want that. And if you say that Funi won't do TFC, then Toei can release it with their own subs!

And with the 16:9 Japanese version (Don't kill me)

It would be redundant. Kai dubbed is already on TV and has already gotten many home releases in the West. The Final Chapters will most likely immediately pick from when Kai 1.0 ends on Toonami.

It wouldn't be redundant if we got Ocean Kai...

Well, since Funmation and Crunchyroll are in bed with eachother now that's probably never going to happen. I think you'd have a better chance of it being streamed on a site like Daisuki instead as they've also recently got Super and are partly owned by Toei Animation. Funimation would still probably block it for American territories since they own the streaming rights there but it might be possible for other countries to view it.

Still very unlikely though. Especially since it's probably a censored dub for TV.

Having already aired and its home release I see no point in bringing it back.
Dragon Ball was always a kid series and fans should stop being in denial.

Well, the only legal place to stream Kai is toonami.com and Amazon. They should at least add it to funimation.com

I'm more of a physical release junkie, but a streamable version would be nice in the meantime.

I forgot when typing this that I literally don't care about Kai at all, so nevermind.
