And I'm right back to wondering what the fuck is going on with the writing of Super. So... does Goku stop, mid getting his ass kicked by Kale and Caulifla, to teach the two girls kicking his ass how to do the fusion dance?! I... what?! I... *sigh*

I was confused on Twitter everyone said Goku is an idiot for teaching Cali and Kale the Fusion Dance, but I didn't see that in the title. I thought I missed information or something since everyone said it.

People jumping to conclusions... Again. They may already know it or they may use Potara, since Roshi could use the Mafuba jar, using the Potara shouldn't be banned ad it's not really a weapon plus we know outsiders can help outside the ring so they throw it down.

I don't know what to feel.

On one hand, Goku teaching them the fusion dance isn't something out of the ordinary. Dude loves a challenge. And idea of Caulifla and Kale fusing is a fascinating concept, given their relationship. But on the other hand, I have to question... how are they not going to fuck this up?

Either way, this is going to be one hell of a spectacle, if Caulifla and Kale fusing is going to happen, and we don't get another red herring. And everyone will be watching to see how it unfold.

I've read that when creators come back to something years later they'll work more like a fan would due to how long its been which is what we're seeing here. They've got some really great things but it's all mixed with fan service and fan ideas.

I don't really think it is Toriyama who's coming with these ideas. More like Toei coming with these suggestions and Toriyama just agreeing with them. I doubt he's the one who came up with the idea to make Frieza so important in Super or make the original Z fighters relevant again. Also to let Vegito appear multiple times in the series(obviously gonna happen with the Potara retcon). It's probably like ''Hey mr. Toriyama. Future Trunks has a big fandom, wouldn't it be interesting to see what has become of him?'' and then they combined it with the fan wishes of an evil Goku, thus the Goku black arc was born.

I agree, a lot of Super feels like fan fiction.

He wrote the movie Resurrection 'F' himself, so yes he brought Freeza back without Toei suggesting it.

This is way too much assumption that this 'can't be Toriyama' since it was a 'fanfic idea' when he's the one who write child of Bulma and Vegeta comes from the future, chops Freeza and his father up effortless, and warns everyone about a dire future.

What will happen is the Robots will fuse and give Goku the idea for fusion. Goku holds the robot off and tells Kale and Caulifla to watch Krillin do the dance from the bench. Krillin says he needs a partner so Whis taps his staff on Krillins head and then Tien's to transfer the technique to Tiens memory. Tien and Krillin perform the technique and then Kale and Caulifla copy.

That is....an oddly specific and detailed prediction.

Do we know the robots fuse in their episode? I can't remember that from the previews. I was thinking that they might leave the megabot to #17 and #18.

Will this fusion be able to use Kale's Berserk form? That would actually make her pretty formidable. Potentially able to challenge Jiren even.

Goku probably needs them to fuse so he can get Ultra Instinct again. Knowing there's not much time, he probably thinks this is the only way to access it quickly. Maybe being put into another life or death situation will allow him to access UI. That's just my speculation, though.

17 and 18 will probably face Damom and Gamisaras as both are twins.

Goten and Trunks got shafted for this. Between all reasons not to enjoy Caulifla and Kale, this is the biggest for me.

The production crew, Toriyama and Bandai are not interested in using those characters. Goten and Trunks are not fighters, they dick around too much. If this bothers you, go make a doujinshi.

Fusion of the Saiyan chicks. Alright then. Let's see where this goes. There isn't really much for me to say about this because there isn't much information besides that it's a thing that's going to happen.

I will address a couple things I've heard from others though.

I'm confused why the fusion is now fan fic territory. What's so fan ficky about using an already established concept in the series? I don't even care about fusion all that much outside of Gotenks, and I understand people want to see new shit, but the concept of fusion is a thing in the dragonball world. Why wouldn't they use it? It's not fan fiction to use things that are apart of the world.

Some people say they shouldn't know what fusion is. Why? Nothing the U6 fighters ever said or did indicated that fusion isn't a thing they were not aware of. At the very worst Goku just teaches it to them and they learn it in 10 seconds.

It almost seems Caulifla and Kale can't so much as move an inch without igniting rage around here.

Pretty much, but even then the Kaioshin of U6 may have given it to them prior to the start, which explains Cabba's comment about them and we now know that the Potara have a power and time limit, so it would have to be used as a basically last resort.

They still have too much screen time that could have been given to others. This will be 5 episodes in total for them.
