To be fair, a quick reverse image search shows that the first instance of the picture being used was April 1st (Fools), 2017.

That's because it is fake. That image is not new and it doesn't even look like a Toriyama's art.

You must be kidding, right? First of all, Toriyama's designs are never badly drawn. You might dislike his new style but to say it's bad, you must be blind.
It was so clear that it wasn't Toriyama's design. The main reason being that Toriyama can actually draw and that hoax was probably done by someone who clearly lacks drawing skills. The second reason is that Yamamuro literally traces Toriyama for the characters designs nowadays, so Toriyama's Jiren must be very similar to this:

The third reason is that even if that was Toriyama's design (which would mean Toriyama was either forced to draw it, or he was under some good drug) then there would be no way both Toei and Toyotaro would change Jiren so much. The truth is that if Toriyama really sent a design that badly drawn, Toei and Toyotaro would still have to follow it.

Btw, is there no illustration of Jiren from Toriyama at all. I think he drew Caulifla and Ribrianne, but who else?

We didn’t get Toriyama’s Ribrianne. We also never saw his designs for Zuno, U6 Tournament announcer, Final Form Frost, Zeno and Guard(s), Future Mai, Gowasu and Grand Priest. We hardly got his Merged Zamasu. I wonder why they don’t release more of his art, I would like to see all his designs for Super.

Anyways, I was going to say that Brianne will be vital in knowing who will survive in episode 118. If she loses to 17 then U2 is gone but if she defeats the Androids then U6 will be gone.

We are very close in getting WSJ episode 118 preview.

Thing is that if 17 defeats Brianne with very high difficulty I could see 17 being ambushed by the Cicadas and getting eliminated in the process.

That is what I think could happen as he would have had a big fight and it would be extremly unlikely to be any of Gohan, Piccolo, Frieza, Vegeta or Goku due to some certain fights we are very sure they will have.

I got this feeling before, but Toriyama's design makes it even more apparent that Jiren's head is inspired by the classical depiction of aliens in media. Except his buff instead and thin and small. Wonder if that was the joke....
