I can't unhear 'Dragon Ball Super' to the tune of the eye catch for Sailor Moon Super. XD

Oh I can't wait. This is gonna be awesome. I hope there's some Vegeta and baby Bra stuff in there. X3

Surely we are living in the end times.

Here's hoping the series touches on that "12 Universes" tidbit Beerus talked about. And here's also hoping that Toei cares enough to get some quality animators on this.

I find it hard to believe this would take place soon after Buu, but before BoG, as why build up those universes, and the SSG & SSGSS transformations, only to not use them in the new Anime?.
Not to mention being unable to use Beerus and Whis.

It would seem odd to bring in all these new ideas, only to throw them out for the TV series?, though I suppose they could start right after Buu, and build up to Beerus, but Goku would use SS3 and Vegeta SS2.

Still pinching myself! Can't believe it's really happening. I hope it takes place after FnF. Beerus and Whis are such good characters. I personally can't see Toriyama doing a story without them with how much he seems to like them.

It will take after BoG and RF, would not make sense otherwise.

The original japanese site where the info came from says an enemy stronger than buu "AND FREEZA" will appear. So most likely its after the events of ROF. Why else would freeza be mentioned, especially the one from namek? http://natalie.mu/comic/news/145741. Use google translate.

I hope we see what happens after Goku trains Oob/Uub in this series and we get the ending the series deserves because Goku flying off with some random kid while it is the kind of thing Goku would do just didn't sit right as a good ending with me

It's unlikely that Joji Yanami is going to be involved, I guess. Given his total absence from Fukkatsu no F, I doubt he'll be up for an entire TV series.

I wonder who they'll use as a narrator. Yanami's voice is one of the defining parts of Dragon Ball next to Nozawa. Will Kaio be recast?

I just want all the staff details. I imagine Yamamuro will be lead animator for a great deal of the project, but I hope they find someone else to direct.

EDIT: I can't read. It's directed by Kimitoshi Chioka who storyboarded Battle of Gods.

Sumitomo is almost certainly going to be the composer. If that's the case, I sincerely hope they give him a significant budget to produce movie-quality tracks over the garbage we got in Dragon Ball Kai.

So many questions! Argh, I just want details now!!

Oh my God! A new series... I could die. Man, my friends thought I was nerding out before, just wait until the new series comes out. I bet it'll do better than Naruto and Bleach, and maube even One Piece.

Now, I know that the forum rules require us to contribute only when we have something meaningful to say but I want to say:

JUST WOW! I have been waiting for it ever since I watched the last episode of GT. I finished elementary school, high school, did my BA, MA, got married and still waited and yes, finally there's a whole new DB series. That's quite possibly the best news I've heard in a while.

I'm even slightly exaggerating here, and I know this is an incredibly sad thing for a grown man to say, but I've been dreaming about this since I was 10.

I'm still so numb to the news to even begin to get my head around it, but I really just want to take this at face value for what it would mean to my 10-year old self, despite being buried in 15 subsequent years of fandom, and gritty realities about Toei's modern production standards and the propensity for this to be awful, either script-wise or aesthetically.

Um, the Bleach anime was cancelled over three years ago. (The manga on the other hand, is still ongoing.)

Anyway, I'm super excited about this news. My body is ready.

Kageyama, where are you? Make me happy...MAKE ME HAPPY!!

But seriously, I don't think Kageyama will be hired for this one. I'm just asking for someone with his 'touch' :)

Honestly not sure how I feel about this. There hasn't been anything in the two most recent movies that I've seen that I've actually liked. (at least any ideas that I've seen I've liked better than GT).

Just because it'll be "canon" doesn't mean it'll be good. I'll wait and see though.

I just hope they don't over-do the CGI for the fight scenes. Regardless I'm excited to see how this will turn out.
I think I'll be buying assorted Dragon Ball things for the rest of my life.
