Seems like we got a lot of exciting Dragon ball news today but nothing to major it appears. Sorry for asking but when does the jump fiesta start? Is it December the 15 or is it later?

He did it for Super Buu who he considered a fused being. When it was Kid Buu, he refused before Vegeta said anything since it wasn't fair to Kid Buu for them to fused when he wasn't a fusion anymore.

I'll have to go look for my manga volumes again, but I'm 95% sure he never once even implied he cared if Buu was a fused/unfused being. That's seems like a fan theory more than anything else, and the reason he didn't fuse in the end was simply because "that's how we saiyans are *smirk*"

No, he was even less heroic in the movie. Super made his reasons more heroic. He even told Beerus outright in the movie that he went through the ritual so he could fight Beerus, nothing about saving the world.

Having visions of his wife and friends as he was being pushed back by Beerus's blast is less heroic? They're literally shown to be the reason he pulls through as he was losing, which is something DB never did before.

That picture is literally just useless noise. You're not seeing anything there.

It's not useless noise. It's a shadowed photo of a real card, and after brightening it up I'm certain I can see someone's feet on the right side, whose look to be Golden Freeza's after further inspecting.

Didn't that picture come with the info that it was a character that had yet to appear in the anime?

They said it wasn't their style. That's all I remember. Nothing about a fairness. At most I think they believed a fusion wasn't necessary anymore, because they thought Kid Buu wasn't as strong as before.

Yamcha deserves better, his manga is still doing good with the backlog sales, but sad that Toriyama sees him as a joke. the japanese fans clearly like him and wouldve been more interesting seeing him fight than the Androids(who already overstayed their welcome imo)..

I also hope this is the case, maybe an OVA about Jiren to finally give the man a personality? (anime) or an OVA about Ft Trunks, (i mean one linking his fate with db online approach, so basically the origins of time Patrol Trunks)

You can't really use the 'Yamcha' Manga as something that suggests Yamcha is popular (Though I wouldn't be surprised if Yamcha was); it's a story that is only about Yamcha in name.

You can't really use the 'Yamcha' Manga as something that suggests Yamcha is popular (Though I wouldn't be surprised if Yamcha was); it's a story that is only about Yamcha in name.

Let alone the fact it's a comedy entirely built upon the "Yamcha is a joke" concept.

I doubt we'll get any real details this early considering it would spoil the end of the ToP which is still 2-3 months out.

Considering that their very lives are at stake, I think this is a situation dire enough for him to forsake his sense of fair play. Especially if Gohan asks him to.
Even Goku isn't that bull-headed. He hated getting the power of a god with someone else's help, but he sill did it.

Kid Buu fight, Buu blew up the planet killing Goku's sons and his friend Piccolo, and Buu was also an universal threat. So.....

He got the power of the god because he really wanted to fight Beerus. Not necessarily save the world or even his own life.

He also made it obvious that he hated getting power he didn't earn on his own, but he did it anyway.

Gee, why you think Goku did that? That's right, because he dosein't want everyone dead and the earth gone, like any decent person.
Goku also considered fusing with Vegeta again, but decided against it because it wouldn't be enough, not that it would be unfair.

Does it infuriate some fans every time the song HERO plays in that movie? I don't recall reading about Toriyama complaining how out of place that song was.

Also you implying Goku didn't even care about his own life when fighting Beerus, sweet Dende is Goku suicidal now?

Truly as the author intended, Shinji Ikari got nothing on Son Goku.
