He is punching them. He is knocking them aside. That damages them and makes them lose concentration. It's absolutely not a weird way to look at it, Jiren is just being a moral hypocrite if he thinks he can fight in the tournament without knocking anyone out and still believe he's innocent regarding the erasure of other universes.

Regardless of whether its arrogance like the anime showed or his desire to "not have blood" like manga chooses. Logically, he would go serious from the beginning and wipe out damn near everyone in 2 minutes but you can't tell a story by having him do that

I'm liking what I'm seeing here. Yeah I also find it weird seeing Jiren just attack people but not actually knock them out. I'm excited to see the differences. I liked the recruitment more in the anime but I feel the manga would work better for a battle royale structure

What major info?The Yadrat is not important.
Also its not that hard.It was never stated that non twin universes cannot have races in common,just that twin universes have the most in common.

Yes to all. I want the main series to be as cool as the video-games are now. Adding information, more content to the lore. This should be an opportunity to explore more of the Yadorats that unfortunately didn't even appear in the manga, I want to know what are and to see the other interesting techniques they've created (instead of seeing characters spamming the same old ones, like Vegeta with his Final Flash). Otherwise, it would be another miss opportunity that just make me lose any excitement to the main series.
