You certainly can't blame Goten and Uub when they were barely in the show. :P

Not the Goku that people wanted. Pan was the one of the worst things in GT so was one of the main reasons it was terrible.

Aside from that the main cast being Goku, Trunks and Pan meant that other main characters like Vegeta, Krillin, Piccolo and Gohan didn't really even appear all that much which was another reason why people didn't like it.
The problem wasn't Pan since people liked Pan in EOZ. The problem was the way Pan was written in GT.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

Out of curiosity, do we have any info on how GT Pan was received back in Japan, because it seems the western fans and the Japanese fans don't always see eye to eye when it comes to certain characters. We might be placing way too much blame on Pan's shoulders for GT's fate.

They had a mental breakdown? What's the context?

Hmmmm, kinda interesting that the highest ratings of the ToP have featured The Girls predominantly. I'm not saying it's a pattern, but--

Those short intros that started playing recently before the Opening may have something to do with this rise in the ratings.
It's a good strategy to hype the viewers and make them not change the channel.

This is the most frustrating thing about the modern fanbase, they build up expectations on zero basis just what they want to believe and when it doesn't happen they'll endlessly complain.

Can people stop talking about the next gen,is getting repetitive & annoying,i swear every single page i've seen so far have a mention of pan, uub, goten and trunks being the new main characters that will replace goku & vegeta,at this rate this will become a meme.

Better start reporting the user for derailing the topic (and perhaps even trolling).
Dragon Ball was always a kid series and fans should stop being in denial.

1. Sazae-san - 12.4%
2. Chibi Maruko-chan - 10.4%
3. Doraemon - 8.7%
4. Crayon Shin-chan - 8.5%
5. Detective Conan - 7.3%
6. One Piece - 6.6%
7. Dragon Ball Super - 5.0%
8. Pokemon Sun & Moon - 4.3%
9. Time Bokan: The Villains Strike Back - 3.3%
9. Kira Kira PreCure A la Mode - 3.3%

Super's percentage is down compared to last week, so let the obligatory doomsaying commence, I suppose.

Up .2% compared to last weeks rating.

All of the Saiyan Girls episodes and Cabbas did 5.0% and above, the japanese fandom like them, its obvious at this point.
