The irony of Super actually ending due to its lowest rated arc is not lost on anyone.
People have already explained that Super is not ending because of its rating, but please realize that these rankings don't paint the full picture of why the ratings are the way they are. It probably has more to do with Super Sentai/Kamen Riders moving to the same time time slot than any change in the series.

It's not irony to think that but stupidity, because that means all the others animes that don't reach top 10 would be cancelled.
A world without Dragon Ball is just meh.

It is refreshing to have proper punching and kicking Precure back (I didn't hate A La Mode, it had fun character reaction faces and music, but removing fisticuffs left its fights kinda dull). While I'm not that keen on the "Precure raise a baby" stuff, I can deal with it if it means physical fights of Precure vs giant monsters are back.

Super in 8th though, yikes. Maybe people are giving up now that they know there is no next arc this April after all. I'm stubbornly watching till the end, but I can understand people for looking elsewhere to watch stuff at 9.

As long as Super can stay on the board until the end, and I'm near certain it will, I think it'll be fine.
I have seen reviews and clips of Hugtto Precure and it is looking really good!

Cure Yell's fight moments alone where EPIC, Always love the fact Precure took the Magical Girls and combined them with Dragon Ball and Comic Book Style Fights, you just Don't Get More Awesome then that!

Also Cure Yell is a very likable character too, all Cures are but it is important to have a good 1st impresstion. Indeed while La Mode was ok with me just doing the magical attacks with what I saw of it, designing itself in its own style, Precure is Best when we have as you say Fisticuffs.

So Glad to see it made the Top 10!

Also, where could One View the New Hugtto Precure?!

It is Not on Crunchyroll, wondering if their is a Legit place like that to give it Ratings/Views?!

There is no legit way online to watch Hugtto full episodes right now as far as I know. You can view next episode previews online legit at their official YouTube account https://youtu.be/My1u0ka_xck though.

Crunchyroll has Futari wa, while Netflix has 90's style dubs of Doki Doki and Smile, but I think that's about it for English subs or dubs.

I'd like to hope that one day Precure will get official weekly subs for an ongoing season, but it's not here yet.

If you think about it the top 10 kind of doesn't mean anything. Being ranked I am sure doesn't matter for the shows that are as they will probably be airing regardless and late night anime will never make the top 10 and so primarily rely on other sales.

Each season is wildly different from the previous one. Precure is the franchise where Toei takes risks and tries new things with each reboot. This year's looks pretty good so far. They've landed some amazing staff this time around (there's excitement about Junichi Sato and Toshie Kawamura returning to Toei among others) and it's so nice to get fisticuffs style battle back. The two Precure they've introduced this year so far I've found relatable and entertaining (there's a third who will be introduced in a couple weeks). As of now I'm having fun.

The reason the top 10 doesn't mean much is because it's the same shows every week. Either family shows, or the same long runners like Pokemon, One Piece, Detective Conan and now Dragonball. Sometimes Precure.

Aren't there like 50+ anime that air in Japan every week? Granted a lot of it is ecchi or borderline hentai/porn shows they only air late at night, of course that stuff isn't going to make the list.

First off, Super's ratings are still much higher than the vast majority of anime on air, including other successful franchises.
Second, the ratings literally don't matter for a show like Dragon Ball, what matters is the money made, and DB is making a shit load.
Image

We also have the first 9 months results of FY2018 for Bandai and DB has already made 65.4 billion yen for them in the fiscal year, more than the full year results for Fiscal Year 2017, and they had to up their forecast for the year to 96 billion because it's doing so well.
Dragon Ball is the number 1 money maker for Toei and Bandai now, the ratings don't matter.
Dragon Ball Super is likely ending for a variety of reasons that came together for a perfect opportunity.
Kitaro is turning 50, so it makes sense to do an anniversary series, Dragon Ball has a new big movie coming and the video games are popular again, so the brand will stay in people's minds while the show is off air and Dragon Ball can come back with a good production next year that will allow them to more properly utilize the brand by doing movies and TV specials while the show is still running and all while making the average episode cost less money to make than Super's while still looking better(though don't expect something that is consistently amazing).
Kitaro seems to have been in the oven for awhile, this is unlikely to have been some quick decision, Super has probably been planned to end this March since at least last summer, if not all the way back when this arc was being planned. This was definitely a calculated decision.

Someone's bitter. Hyping Dragon Ball Super was the problem itself.

Doraemon and Shin-chan are monster franchises in Japan that have had consistently high ratings for their anime(s) for decades.

That they are. Doraemon's been running since 1979 and Shin-chan from the early 90's.

No one should really expect DBS to do better than either of those series and even if it was "hyped up" it'd still not be enough.

Episode 124 - TV 4.6% (7th)
Episode 125 - TV 4.6% (7th)

Wouldn't be surprised if it keeps this up, though it will be interesting to see if 130 or 131 has the higher rating.
