Yashima as storyboard means episode will be as bad as episode 115.

122 looks to be the best DBS episode ever, even above the TV Special.

If Vegeta receives one of his biggest beatdowns ever then it will already be one of the best episodes no matter who is working on the episode.

Did you really need to bring your salt here? This place is about the staff of Super, not a place to vent.

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

No but I would have said the same thing about Vegeta anytime.

I won't post stuff like this in here in the future.

Also who's Yamashita on 120. Never heard of them. What else have they written?
They've written a lot of scripts for shows you'll know;
Futari wa Precure: Splash Star
Yes! Precure 5
Yes! Precure 5 Go Go!
Fresh Precure!
Mahoutsukai Precure!

Among a handful of other, non Precure shows.

Are these shows well regarded writing-wise?

I don't watch Precure so I have no idea.

-New staff list-

We get a new Precure writer after Universe 2 Magical girl got eliminated...

Anyway, fantastic staff list.

Another episode with Shimanuki, Toshio + Karasawa combo and the best of the best - Shida's storyboard + Takahashi as Supervisor.
Maybe Otsuka Ken pops up to do something with U3 Mechas.

I hope Karasawa finally delivers in ToP and Shida animates something in episode 122, like he did in episode 95.

Since ToP seems to end only in March, hopefully there's still time for Takahashi to supervise one final ToP episode involving Goku vs Jiren final round.
I'm still waiting for Nagamine + Nakamura to do another episode.

My dream team:

Script - Toshio
Storyboard - Nagamine
Director - Nakamura
Supervisor - Takahashi

Episode 107 was the closest to that.
A world without Dragon Ball is just meh.

Is Toshio even returning after this episode? He didn't mention any other ever since, and a tweet last month made it sound like he had left.

Splash Star I've only seen the movie, I've seen all of Yes! and Go Go and their movies, the tail end of Fresh plus its movie, and all of Mahou and its movie.

Big thing the first four have in common is good choreography. All of them have physical combat. They're all decent at hitting emotional highs.

I think he'll be a good addition to Super. He's written both plot and filler for Precure upon me researching.

He has experience balancing multi fighter battles so for this arc that's good.

Early Precure series have a lot of Dragon Ball style combat because chunks of their staff worked on Dragon Ball.

The only combat-less Precure is this year's Kira Kira Precure a la Mode. Next year's (Hugtto) looks like it might go back to physical fights though, hopefully.

Seems like he was talking about Hiromi Tsuru passing away to me.

Then we're good, the shows I bolded are my favorite in the franchise.

Thanks for the information. I always assumed Precure was more Sailor Moon or Card Captures then Dragon Ball.

Nah, his boards are pretty good. And considering how much of a literal tank he is (animating an entire episode PLUS making storyboards) does so much for Super.
The reason 115 was "bad" was mainly because of the director, I would say. The same director is also directing 122, so we'll see if he was either screwed over for 115, or he isnt that good.

I was under the impression the same scene where Black tries to attack Goku with his blade back in #57 was reused with Saonel trying to attack Gohan with his blade in somewhere between #112 and #118

It could be just Tomioka could be writing all the episodes to end the arc, just like he did the Trunks arc. He wrote the first 5 of this he could maybe write the last 5 or so too.
