Ho w did people react to the episode today? My stream wasn't that good so I won't be negative since many already point me that the art was good. Personally I didn't see it
Just like it's been stated above. The episode was pretty consistent, only 1 or 2 funny shots which weren't even bad, they just looked different than the rest of the episode.

Atleast I think they were. Unless there's another term for that and someone can correct me :P
Cabba's and Caulifla's transformations lacked any form of impact. Some mountains shaking, thunder, etc. In total, no serious problema.

May this be SSJ2? Because regular SSJ hair on Caulifla looked different in the recent episode

Kitano is on next week, yes, and you can see a tiny bit of him in the NEP, but that isn't him.

Guys, Kitano is Kitano. He has no "style with time". When it's good, it's a correction, when it's bad, it's him.
Fortunately enough, he will be with Ono and his studio, and Ide will probably correct him a lot.

Kitano always does badly, we just have to hope for solid corrections. Though I have to wonder... why this episode? It's a pretty big one to have the least talented staff member working on. I get that everyone needs time, but surely they could shift Kitano's schedule around to less important episodes. I don't care enough to be upset, but it seems that throughout the show's history, Kitano often gets put on episodes that quite frankly, he has no business touching. It was a problem in both RoF and FT

Yeah, i've always wondered why he gets the important episode as considering his lackluster art/animation.

I mean, he's done:

- The first episode.

- Episode 7 where the Dragon Team fights Beerus.

- Episode 19 which was Frieza's resurrection episode.

- Episode 24 where Goku first starts to fight Frieza.

- Episode 33 where Goku first starts to fight Botamo, which is also the first fight in the Universe 6/7 tournament.

- Episode 39 where SSB Goku continues to battle Hit.

- Episode 57 where Trunks and Goku were both fighting against Trunks and Black.

- Episode 62 where Ikari Trunks fights Zamasu and Black.

- Episode 67 which is the climax of the Future Trunks/Zamasu saga.

... and so on.

Since they're using Kale's transformation from the opening in 93 I wonder why they didn't do the same for Gohan meditating in episode 90. Hopefully they use as much of the opening animation as possible in the tournament.

That was really polished, aside from some dodgy Vegeta art from Ishikawa. Nothing particularly interesting to talk about, really. No complaints.

Next week's art direction looks great. Really love what they're doing there. Frankly, it's been a theme all arc. I suppose that's probably Nigamine's touch. I love it.
Just noticed: Nobuyoshi and Jin Inaba are back! That's great to see!

Obviously some ugly Kitano stuff will make its way through like always, but I hope we get plenty of great art.

Time for them to make up for so much ugly Freeza stuff from the F arc :P

ALSO I really want to know who drew this.

Time for a double whammy.

#91

Really solid episode, the there were only two cuts in the entire episodes that really stood out to me (Vegeta powering up in the room of spirit and time had this nice outwards zoom to it, and the longest piece of Sakuga Super has under it's belt, the Tate Magical girl transformation), everything else was just serviceable. The transitions were definitely the best thing going for the episode. I would definitely say it was a better than #90, but that mainly due to Tates involvement.

#92

Another fairly polished episode. There were no really stand-out pieces of animation except a nice little bit of background animation as we zoomed out to reveal Caulifla's Super Saiyan form. Everything was fine for the most part, except for some awkward shots here and there. Overall, an serviceable, though completely unoteworthy episode.

The NEP looks fine to me, I hope the scene Kitano actually handles is mainly comprised of dialogue, and that he is heavily corrected in the scenes he actually does. The Kale thing looks like it's going to be using the Tate scene from the preview, so thats something at least to look forward to!

-Episode 92-

Awesome episode. Loved everything.
They added new shots to the Tournament arena building scene in the end. It's almost finished!

-NEP-

Looks great to me.
Seems like they will use Kale's transformation scene in the Opening as Bank Animation. I wasn't expecting that, smart move! But then again, this arc has been full of them.
Love the post-production work in Goku/Freeza scene. It's something I already I take for granted in this arc and I'm betting that scene will look better than anything in ROF involving Freeza.

It will be a sad day when Nagamine Tatsuya and Nakamura Ryota leave. They sure are leaving their mark on this arc.
I'm grateful!

Love this shot:

Oh, and by the way, while Animage said Kyosato Yamamoto will story-board this one, it was in fact Isao Torada also know as Yuji Yamaguchi!
