Does that mean Gabriel will be Zamasu since he's the newest Kaioshin?! :P
He's already Dende so he's got that newest God thing covered.
Please don't let it be him.

Looks like we've got some casting news from wikipedia AND IT IS...

... Joana Castro as Arale. I was already expecting they would change it from Cristina (she did her when she appeared after the U6 arc).

Also I had an idea for another candidate for Zamas(u), Quimbé. He's characters don't appear basically at all during the FT arc, Champa and Hit don't appear even once and Kaioshin only appears at the end so he can give Goku and Vegeta the earings. I would prefer Romeu Vala but I think Quimbé is a safe bet for Zamas(u).

Just like France, Italy is also getting some awesome DBS stuff for school year:

I wonder if we will get something. That little stand in Colombo surprised me, but I want more.

-Quimbé as Zamasu-

There's something about Quimbé that makes me feel he's not the right choice. I don't want to overwork Spinola, but if Romeu is not the one for the role and they refuse to bring more people to the cast, so be it. I would go with Spinola.

I would cast Quimbé as Daishinkan.

I haven't went to buy my school stuff for this year but I'll be sure to check if I find anything DB related.

I also think it wouldn't be perfect casting but it would be better than Gabriel (which by himself is worse than nothing because nothing would mean japanese voice).

As for the Daishinkan or whathever they'll call him in the dub, I think there's an pretty big chance of him being voiced by Gabriel, but Quimbé would be a pretty good fit too. But I'm sure we'll find out soon since after tomorrow SIC has an open space in it's schedule since Digimon Fusion is ending tomorrow.

Talking about Universe Survival arc, I've been thinking how perfect Cristina would be as Ribrianne. She also did Sailor Moon which is a nice coincidence.
Joana should get Helles.

I hope we get at least two more voice actors. I know they are talented, except Gabriel of course, but there are too many characters. If anything they should overwork Gabriel to do the fodder character that get eliminated quickly.

Cristina not only was Sailor Mars as she continues to play her on Sailor Moon Crystal. I think we'll get at least one more actress and I hope for two more actors. My hopes go for Bárbara Lourenço (She's Hinata so she would be perfect for Kale), Mário Bomba and some other great voice actor that we have in Portugal.

Also I bet everythin that Gabriel we'll have a bunch of those Gryll type characters that are there only to be beaten the shit out of them.

AH! Knew it!
I remember when people complained about those fails in Copy Vegeta arc on the facebook page, an admin replied saying that it would be fixed and I was like " Yeah right..."

I'm thankful for we having Super dubbed, but I sure don't miss Audio-In's incompetence. They hardly could have found a worse studio. It's a shame.
For the ones that are complaining about Audio In, there is already another studio working on Dragon Ball Super dubbing in Portugal. This studio is actually 112 Studios, but doing additional recording for the brazilian dub. Fábio Lucindo, the brazilian voice of Krillin is living in Portugal because he studies in Coimbra currently, and he recorded some episodes in 112 Studios for the brazilian dub.

Actually, it's a similar situation to the english dubs of Dragon Ball Super, since the Funimation dub is produced on Dallas, but Sean Schemmel(Funimation Goku) lives in Los Angeles and record his lines in a studio called North Hollywood Sound, when at the same time the Bang Zoom dub is produced in Los Angeles too. The difference comparing to the portuguese dubs is that that the additional studio is in another country, and not only in another state.

What do you guys think if 112 Studios was the ADR Studio for the european portuguese dub too?

If Arale have an actress now I can deduce they are working until the episode 75 maybe.

I imagined he was dubbing there since the owner of the studio is Brazilian which would make it easier to do the connection between the two countries.

Excluding some cast differences, I think it would be the same except with some quality control, that is the only thing missing from this otherwise good and faithful dub.
SaintEvolution wrote: If Arale have an actress now I can deduce they are working until the episode 75 maybe.
It's hard to say, the wikipedia page was already reversed to have it say that Cristina is Arale so it was either someone's mistake or someone is hiding the casting for future characters.

So, I don't know if you guys have seen this or not, but apparently there's going to be a play called "The Return of Dragon Ball" directed by Henrique Feist, with the music being direced by Nuno Feist (Herinque's brother and a Golden Globe winner in Portugal), they already have where to show it, Auditório of Casino Estoril, which is actually a place where a lot of great plays are shown. The cast consists of basically everybody fro the dub with the exception of Gabriel and Quimbé. I've got to say I'm actually quite curious, it's clearly not going to be them just talking a everybody in the cast as Theatre experience so I really want to know what will come out of this.
Here's the Poster:

It was also announced a few days ago that new episodes will start airing in September.

I enjoyed your post in their facebook page about the "Toi" Animation fail more than the poster. They were asking for it.
It's because of stuff like that I can't take our dub or whatever that pages does serious anymore. There's amateurs errors everywhere.
Gafonso6 wrote: I really want to know what will come out of this.
They will play the pérolas and laugh because they are so funny and Dragon Ball would be nothing here without that.

- DB School stuff-

I went looking for if there was some DB school stuff being released here like in France and Italy and I found nothing.
As far anime goes, only Yokai Watch which surprised me. The rest is cartoon stuff like Frozen which is still huge and the classics Spider-Man, Avengers, Captain America, etc...

How I miss the 90s. There was Dragon Ball stuff everywhere.

I also like my comment very much, not because of the joke since it was so easy, because it revealed that Gabriel hates me. Can I use that as an achievement?

I have a feeling that won't happen, they woudn't have a Golden Globe winner maestro doing the music and if it was just that Gabrile would 100% be there.

This is really weird, for some reason Toei Europe is ignoring Portugal in the merchandising side.

Just rewatched episode 20 on SIC K now. Somehow Gabriel's Jaco is even worse than I remembered.

He's really bad. I still can't figure out why they decided to give a character that requires so much energy from a person that is clearly not a good actor. At least is good for backgound characters, those are the roles that suit him.

Also, since Super is only returning in September and they started recording on the first week of August I actually have hope that mistakes won't happen like last time, since they're not doing everything in a hurry to get everything ready in two weeks.

I think it will be a worse scenario, because before fans could point out some errors that got fixed later like FT Trunks masenko being called Kamehameha, Goku's Kaioken força 10 instead of x10 (how they screwed up this one is beyond me). I also still expect stuff like "Son Go ku" and "Son Go Han".

The best thing on our favor compared to the beginning is that the old voice actors are not rusty anymore. The retellings were a good training.

For some reason there's a part of me that's afraid Loy will return to the beggining and I really hope not, the performance he was doing on the last episodes that aired was really good, I hope he keeps things that way and that Romeu Vala is Zamas(u) and I know that Rui de Sá will be great as Gowas(u). I also hope they don't translate SSJ Rosé to Rosa, and there's like 55% chances of that happening.

I'd be disappointed, but could still live with "Rosa". If they go fully "Cor de rosa" on the other hand...

If that would happen, which I doubt it, no translator is that incompetent, I would love to see what the blind fanboys would come up to excuse it, could we see a return of the "Artistic choice" excuse?

Also, I'm going to Audio In for a workshop so if you guys want me ask them anything if the subject comes up I'll do it.

Some Fnac stores are selling imported Dragon Ball figures from Banpresto, mostly the latest wave of SCultures (the one with SSJ2 Gohan doing an uppercut and that manga-colored Goku with the martial arts stance from the Vegeta fight), the diorama figures from the FT arc and a few Super Master Stars Piece figures (some with the regular colors, others "cel-shaded"; I haven't seen alternate colors or grey scaled figures yet). I can confirm that the stores from the Alegro shopping in Alfragide and on the Armazéns do Chiado in Lisbon have them, but I doubt they are the only ones (I only checked those two).

The figures are overpriced (39.99€ for the Scultures and dioramas and 99.99€ for the Super Master Stars Pieces) but they don't seem to be knock-offs, from looking at the ones exposed in Alegro.

I saw a lone Sailor Mars figure on Armazéns do Chiado as well, from the Break Time Figure line.

In a polite way of course, ask them about "Son Go Ku" and "Son Go Han". When you can find the answer in 10 seconds on google, I don't understand how they write their names like that in 2017.

Seriously?! I've been on Armazéns do Chiado two days ago, but I didn't went to Fnac. I will see this weekend if the one in Vasco da Gama has something.
